   Always a great experience at Gauchos Do Sul - Katy. I reserved a table for 8 for Mother’s Day, May 11th. We were seated promptly with no wait. Our server was excellent and the food was perfect. Price per kid depends on age, we had a 6 year old ($20ish) and a 10 year old ($40ish). Adults were ($60ish). A bit expensive but definitely worth it.

   Food tasted good, generally.. Sat outside in what was a beautiful evening. I'm the beginning servers came out frequently enough but later on it became less frequent. They did bring what I thought was a Huge piece of chicken wrapped in bacon and luckily I peeled the bacon off because the chicken was Raw underneath the bacon !! Piece was too think to cook thoroughly. That was my other concern.. while we asked for our meat to come Medium, it usually was coming medium rare or rare.. Not typical for this restaurant.. usually food is perfect..

   Gauchos Do Sul is our go-to place here in Katy for special events. We used to never want to go to restaurants on holidays because the service was always bad, the food mediocre and it just felt rushed. Now Gauchos has completely changed that. The staff is so attentive, we do not feel like our table has been be quickly turned… the food is constantly replenished. We never have to ask for a thing.

    Service was great. Greeted and welcomed upon arrival. Staff very courteous and helpful. Service was prompt. Food delicious with good variety. Despite the restaurant being pretty packed (popular) there was a good volume. Could have good conversations. Highly recommend it if you want to explore Brazilian cuisine in a nice environment. Price was also reasonable overall given the quality and quantity of food as well as the ambience and great service. Enjoy
