   Always an incredible experience when we go there with our midshipmen from the US Merchant Marine Academy. They make us feel at home and always thank our midshipmen for their service. This is so important to us because none of us live in the local area. This past weekend we went to celebrate one of our midshipmen's birthdays and the owner graciously provided our large party free desserts to share. Our meals and drinks are always superb. So grateful to have found this place, it's like a second home for us when we visit. We will be going there for many years to come.

   We love Garcies Point. It has become one of our favorite restaurants nearby. They are friendly and the beer is good. I love Batallion 5. It is great. I have had the ribs, the hamburger, and the steak & frites, and I would recommend them. I love the dining area. Very comfortable and lively as well. I have mobility issues, but it is easy to get in because it has a nice space to move around. I will keep coming back.

   We had not been to Garvies Point Brewery and Restaurant since the summer. We had a great time. The food was excellent and the service was friendly. The Short Rib flatbread is a must have! The burger was cooked perfect! We will be back soon.

   Beer is great. Food has been extremely disappointing on multiple occasions. Tried the taco special tonight…be prepared to leave hungry. Practically no meat on any of the tacos.

   Christopher, while we are glad you enjoyed the beer, it was upsetting to hear that you were dissatisfied with your food. We are known to have great food, so we wish you would have notified your server of any issues that you had with the food, so we could have made you something new.    Didn’t get served for 30 min. After entering our order they missed our appetizers. Bummer of an experience for a place I really like to go to dinner. Clearly understaffed

   Love love love this place! Such a great vibe and pretty space. Delicious food served by friendly waitstaff. Really like the music, not too loud.

   We love this gem in our neighborhood. I had BBQ ribs and we had the pretzel as appetizer. It is always great and service is really attentive and nice. The place has become very popular in Glen Cove and we are happy is blooming.

   We asked if our party of 5 could sit outside… we were told no. Yet the entire time we ate inside - the 2 tables that could have been combined for us - remained unused the entire night. Very disappointing. Then only 2 of us ordered entrees - and beers - the rest salads and apps - I was shocked that with tip it came to $264!!!

    Food was good but Service was terrible. We ordered an appetizer and it took 30 mins for a pretzel. Our daughter’s sushi showed up 20 mins before everyone else’s food and they made a mistake on our son’s order. Took another 20+ mins to get what he ordered. Don’t know if it was the kitchen, waitstaff or what (they were not overly busy). Disappointed customer.
