   Our meal was outstanding as usual. Host and server very knowledgeable about menu and recommended great appetizers. Overall extremely pleased.

   We experienced an extended wait, and our 7:15 reservation was pushed back to around 7:35. The staff was great overall, Carlos was friendly and well spoken. We started off with the Bacon Candy Appetizer, that was terrific and is the only reason the food isn’t getting 1 star. My wife and I both ordered the Filet 10oz and 8oz for her. We both ordered them medium. My wife’s was well done with no pink to speak of, mine was rare to medium rare at best. After being on Keto for 6 weeks we decided to splurge on a baked potato. That was another huge disappointment. The potato was dry and overcooked yet not even hot when it was served. It just tasted like leftovers. Our waitress noticed the steaks were not cooked properly and even seemed grossed out by mine being so rare. Krystal, the Manager even asked to take pictures of our plates to show the Chef. We had waited so long on the food and put us later in the evening so we didn’t want to wait for a re-cook. Very dissatisfied but still paid the $104 discounted check…

   If you’re looking for a GREAT, well seasoned steak, definitely go!! The only negative thing I could say is that everything is à la carte. So by the time you got done ordering everything that you wanted, it can be quite pricey.

   Carlos seated us at a great table and Mackenzie was just the perfect server. Food and ambience were both so enjoyable. We will be back!

   The host was amazing as always as I have been here before and the gentleman that seats you is very proper and distinguished, the restaurant itself is nicely decorated and lovely. the only issues I had was the service and this has never occurred in the past. I found our server was polite, but not very informative, she came and asked if we were ready as opposed to asking if we wanted to start with an appetizer, we though did order one and as she stood there we did order our meals as well at that time, she said do you want anything else? which I thought at the time odd and we just said that is good.. when a server brought our meals out I understood why the want anything else comment as the steaks came with NO sides and we were not told as we would have ordered them, our server was not the one bringing them and she did not check on us until we were nearly done. I noticed she asked the folk beside us questions and acted properly in polite fashions "are you here for a special occasion " to the table next to us , btw we were there for one .. but I found it odd that she did not say do you wish to order any sides as the steaks do not come with any which we would have of course and I have never had that occur when at a restaurant. If sides are not included and BTW I go to many places so I will forget which do and don't as I don't work there lol.. we left as she did check on us but by that time we were nearly done and just laughing at this and going elsewhere at that time for a late dessert as we were pretty unimpressed by then. Overall the food was ok, the starter was good not great and my filet mignon was half cooked the way I wanted and the other half not which was odd but hubby's was perfect so that was fine. I was more shocked at the poor service then anything else as I have been there many times and why I did not speak up at the moment was no one came by my table and it I wasnt going to have my steak go cold while I ordered a side.

   We eat here every time we are in Oak Grove. The steak is the best we have ever eaten. The sides are huge, so the two of us split our sides.
