   Service was impeccable and thoughtful. Maitre de had a third heat lamp brought without our asking and enveloped us in a cozy warmth throughout the blustery evening which allowed us to really enjoy the beautiful lit patio. Food was all excellent: Brussels sprouts, chicken cabbage salad, curry chicken, bok choy: tops. Lychee dessert could use some tweaking. Will return happily.

   Rarely have I had an experience such as this... First the establishment is BEAUTIFUL! The service was on excellent, and the food/drinks were outstanding (spring rolls, goldfish dim sum, pad Thai, beef satay and shrimp vindaloo). I will be back with more guest, and I hope that Gao stays around for a LONG time!!

   Mediocre Asian food at astounding prices. Realize that South Beach has few Asian spots but the quality/value equation is completely broken here. Can’t charge $25 for three pieces of dim sum that any serious Chinese restaurant would be embarrassed to serve. Service was excellent and the decor is attractive. But don’t compensate for food quality and cost.

   We went for dinner . Service was awesome . She gave great suggestions and knew the menu . Best green chicken curry in town . Wonderful cocktails , spring rolls and dim sum ! We are going back ! .

   Surprisingly authentic thai / viet fare - pad Thai, green curry, Har Mok. Prawn vindaloo though tinkered with a bit too much to claim the name. Overall great experience with a large group.

   GAO is gorgeous. The drinks were wonderful, anything broth based was delicious. The service was a little off, but good effort was given. The ravioli was sold out, wanted to try it badly! Give this spot a try.

   Beautiful outdoor venue...tropical, romantic...Definitely a place to take a date ! Food was outstanding...the egg roll appetizer was amazing ! pricing, as everything in SouthBeach was high... Definitely a must go to, on the list...

    We were the first group of 5 including 2 kids on new years eve. All the seats were empty and the music was blasting with very loud speakers. We requested to be seated away from the speakers and a table with cushions. Absolutely refused to accommodate a simple request. Food was tasteless and overly priced. We left and not surprising, the place was a quarter full at most. Would not come back here.
