   My family eats here almost weekly. The food is always prepared well, hot and delicious. The wait staff is always friendly, attentive and prompt. This is a great restaurant!

   Second time at Gallos on High. Good food, though they were out of a couple of selections by the time we dined. They were attentive to a birthday being celebrated, which was very nice.

   This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. It’s as casual or as fancy as you want it to be. The food is great, the people are wonderful and it’s a great local restaurant.

   I love this place! It’s unassuming but elegant and I love all their dishes I’ve tried. I like the look of the bar and the overall vibe. Chicken piccata is great!!!

   A nice addition to Clintonville, not fast food and not exactly fine dining, but very nice. I’ve been here several times. Food and service are always great. Much to my surprise, when the check came tonight, which was over $100, a 2.97% credit card fee was added. The only way to avoid that is to pay cash or write a check that may or may not be accepted. I typically don’t carry that much cash. You? I spoke with the manager and his hands are tied. I don’t think I’ve been to any restaurant in Columbus that does this. I think it’s unacceptable, especially without prior notice. I could have gone to my bank and taken out cash without a fee. As nice as it is to have Gallo’s here, I won’t be back unless this changes.

   Deborah - when we spoke, I was glad to hear that you were very satisfied with the food, service and every other aspect of your visit with the exception of the fee. To avoid this fee you may elect to pay via debit card in the future.

    Had a really outstanding filet, but my wife had to send her lobster ravioli back as it was undercooked and doughy. Still one our favorite places though. Great service and atmosphere, but a little noisy.
