The Gables Restaurant is pleased to announce that we are now open!

The Gables Restaurant in Newgate Street Village is the social hub within the local community, we are conveniently located for Cuffley, Potters Bar, Hertford and Cheshunt offering fine dining with a range of Mediterranean cuisine.
Whether you’re celebrating with friends and family or planning a romantic dinner for two our relaxed atmosphere is sure to provide the perfect setting. We also offer seated and buffet style party functions in our cocktail bar area or for larger parties in our restaurant area.

    Fabulous food. Great service. Rather loud, but to be expected with loud music. Food limited if you don’t east fish or pasta. One of my all time favourite restaurants .

    One of the worst dining experiences ever. No Christmas menu available at the penultimate weekend before….poorly made cocktails that were undrinkable. Rude and unfriendly staff. No ambience to suggest it was even the festive season! Food was average at best and the pasta was killed with garlic. It was a disaster and left early, so disappointed as we were there on a referral. I certainly won’t be making a positive one to anyone who asks.

    Always great food and great service. The waiters and owner Theo are very attentive and make you feel extremely comfortable. Background music at a nice level where you can hear it but not intrusive to conversation. That’s why it’s our regular go to restaurant.

    Love this restaurant; have been coming here for years and it never fails to provide great, friendly service from Theo, Dino and the rest of the team, and great fresh food. Highly recommend this for a relaxed dinner night out with good portion sizes and a good choice of dishes (including their Specials Menu which changes frequently).
