   First time here, and overall, I’d say it was just okay for us. We started with the deviled eggs—which were actually really good—but for the price, three just didn’t feel like enough. The charbroiled oysters weren’t bad, but they were on the smaller side and a little heavy on the breadcrumbs. For our entrees, we had the snapper and the 24-hour marinated chicken. The snapper wasn’t terrible, though it was a bit salty and inconsistent. The chicken was decent, but definitely could’ve used some sort of sauce to add flavor. The mac and cheese, on the other hand, was a standout—really good. Overall, I’d consider going back, but with the understanding that portion sizes are on the smaller side and the prices are on the higher end. Nearly $300 for a meal that left us not fully satisfied was unexpected. Just something to keep in mind if you’re planning a visit.

   My husband and I decided to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary at Fraiche to support Chef Matt. Every dish we ordered was well seasoned and delicious! The Mac & Cheese and Bread Pudding were VIP of the night!!! We will definitely dine here again!

   Server was Shantell she was out standing. Gave us fantastic suggestions. She was a gem. Food was terrific. Crab cakes and the golden noodles were sublime.

   Our server Melissa was very attentive, friendly, and efficient. The she crab soup was full of crab meat and full of flavor. The deviled eggs, snapper, and gumbo were everything and more. The cocktails were pretty and tasty. We will most definitely return. Me and my friends enjoyed immensely.

   Me and my bestie loved the experience Fraiche and the team provided. We both are fans of the chef behind the amazing menu, Mr. Make it Happen, and after learning about the new restaurant via social media we knew we had to experience this IRL. The level of service was impeccable from the hostess to the manager Sincere who not only accommodated our request for a larger table, but also checked on us to see how our experience was during our meal. Now the food…YES MAAM! The oxtail meatballs were, pun intended, chefs kiss and can we talk about the braised Cornish hen?? It needs and deserves a moment. The razzle dazzle? The deviled eggs topped with caviar, but can we get a moment for the bread pudding…overall one of the best new restaurants to grace the DC scene. As a DMV raised girlie, having this restaurant adds not only cultural but the level of service and value our foodie scene deserves.

   A great food experience! When I tell you food is flavored…it is seasoned to perfection! Great portion sizes too. Unfortunately, our service was a little underwhelming. We sat at the bar and it started off good but the ending was lackluster. It took almost half an hour to cash out. The bartender seemed overwhelmed. I don’t fault her but I know they are getting on their feet. Will still be back but hoping for smoother service.

    My first visit to Fraiche was amazing! The customer service was top tier from the time I walked in until the time I left. My girlfriend and I had the wings and oxtail meatballs for starters, the Golden Gate Noodles with salmon and the Bayou Gumbo and the bread pudding for a dessert. Everything was a 10/10. They had the hits on the speakers too, but at a perfect volume for you to be able to have a combo but still along if you’d like. And to top the night off we were able to get a picture with Mr. MakeItHappen. I’ll 100% be back.
