    Went to have an early dinner with my family after a 2pm matinee , we got there at 5:00 and there was already a dj set up and the music was incredibly loud. The menu and value and space is great for a group of 8 with ages ranging from 8-70, but the volume was not conducive to a pleasant experience for a family dinner on a Sunday

    The food was great! However, I think our waitress was drunk… The music was sooooo loud at 1:00pm, I’d understand and be all for it later in the night but for brunch it was kind of weird. Also, it took very long to get seated even though we had a reservation and the restaurant was so crammed.

    It was simply painfully loud. We were advised that there was some disagreement between staff members which resulted in each adjusting the volume. This made it extremely hard to communicate with the servers (a must for me as I am celiac) and made dinner conversation fruitless.

    Varied menu. Goid food & good service. However, our reservation was for 6 people. @ 6 p.m. on a Friday evening, but were not advised that there is a time limit for seating. We were asked to vacate our table at 7:30. The tips listed on the machine to pay started at 20% and went up from there, but maybe that's the norm for Toronto restaurants.

    Celebrated a friend’s birthday here on a Thursday, it was a bonus when I found out it’s TGIT Happy Hour all day! The staff that serviced us were welcoming, outgoing and friendly. Happy me and my friends all had a great first time experience at the Fox on John. I would highly recommend to others when celebrating a birthday or just to have fun 😊

    Make sure you let them know you want back your change in order to tip by Cash. Our server thought she was getting a 55$ tip and was rude when asked for the change....are you kidding me, otherwise than that my second experience was great. Thanks Fox on john
