   The salmon was delicious and reasonably priced. The service was good. Our waitress was friendly and professional.

   First time to fork lore, unfortunately limited menu due to water issues in Asheville. Apparently full menu will start on Monday, November 25 could only see two staff and they were very busy. Food was good unfortunately ambience is feels like a lobby of a hotel, which it is.

   Good menu with varied entrees, good quality food and solid service. Overall good value. Wish the decor was better, looks and feels like what it is which is a plain vanilla hotel restaurant.

   Our first time dining at Fork Lore and it was a great choice! Our waitress was a delight, sharing her personal favorites and we made our choices from there. My husband and I both had the trout grilled with just salt and pepper which came with a refreshing slaw on top. So delicious!! I chose asparagus and glazed carrots as my sides and was delighted. My husband chose asparagus and potatoes and was quite happy. For dessert, we shared a piece of carrot cake and it was the perfect ending!! I highly recommend this establishment!!

   Had a 9pm reservation, walked in after a 3 hour drive and was greeted within about 5 minutes then seated in plain view of and 2 tables over from the host stand where 3 hosts proceeded to play and text on their phones and chit chat coming and going on occasion but never paying attention to their dining room or the fact they had seated tables without menus, drinks or a server for not 5,10,15,20 minutes but 30 minutes. After 30 mins of sitting and waiting for a server we got up and walked out, directly past the 3 podium supports who never looked up to acknowledge us leaving or ask if everything was ok. At about the 15-20 minute mark another server was walking past and I stopped her for some water which she was kind enough to pour for us. I told her we’d been there since x time and had no server. She advised us it would be just a moment but 10 minutes later as we sat with empty water glasses and still no server we were beyond a point of wanting to patronize this business. We walked across the street to 131 Main Restaurant and had the most amazing experience, service, and entrées that went well above and beyond any of our expectations on all levels earning our server a tip in excess of $100. You never know who your next customer is, treat them all well because you never know who will reward you for the service you deliver. We would never go back to this restaurant.

   What a pleasant surprise! I read the reviews and decided to have dinner with my husband. IT WAS DELICIOUS! I had crab cake entree with roasted brussels and grilled lemon asparagus. I was blown away! Crab cakes were huge and vegetables were perfectly cooked. Husband had chicken pot pie, a favorite of his, and he loved it! We took half our meal home. We will be back.

   First of all, allow non service dogs in dinning room. Unacceptable. As for food, steak and Salmon as well as chicken way over cooked. Made two trips there Saturday night. First and last.

    We sat outside and it was pleasant. The interior felt cavernous and very cold temp. Food was nice though for a vegetarian, quite limited. get the sweet potato fries :)
