Amelia (sp?) was terrific. She got me sorted on wine, clarified the menu options and informed us about the local Datil pepper, which was the star of Tonic’s compound butter. Our food was delicious. It was a perfect experience

Located right off of the main downtown area. Great ambiance, had online reservations for a group of 7 available which was awesome for our bachelorette party! We loved the menu/GF offerings and shoutout to our waitress for making the whole party feel special! We enjoyed the celebratory toast! I would happily recommend this location to others. The corn chowder and artichoke appetizer were delicious. The group also enjoyed the Bella chicken entree!

Kristi, we’re so happy to have been part of your bachelorette celebration! Sounds like your group made the most of the night—from the celebratory toast to the delicious bites. We love making special occasions even more memorable, and we’re glad your server helped make that happen. Thanks for the kind words and recommendation—hope to see you and your guests again soon on historic Aviles Street!

Amazing drinks and bar service and absolutely loved the atmosphere. Food was delicious but not a ton of options. Will absolutely go back.!
    Forgotten TonicResponded 4 days ago
Charlie, we’re so glad you loved the cocktails, bar service, and atmosphere! Our kitchen and prep areas are small, so we keep the menu limited to focus on freshness and making every dish the best it can be—but we’re always looking for ways to keep things exciting. Is there anything you’d love to see us offer? Can’t wait to have you back for another round of amazing drinks and delicious food!

A busy Valentines Day evening but service and food was spot on,…..well organized and cheerful people. Menu is limited but they had specials to encourage repeat diners. Watching the mixologists do their thing is true art! Highly recommend and one of the few restaurants in this city that take reservations to make everything easey peasey.
    Forgotten TonicResponded 5 days ago
Colleen, we’re so glad you joined us for Valentine’s Day! A busy night like that takes a great team, and we love hearing that the hospitality and food were on point. Appreciate the reservation recommendation, and we’ll have a spot ready for you next time—reservations do make it easy peasey!

We went here for Valentine’s Day, made reservations for 2 sitting at the bar. Service was excellent, my husband said the fish sandwich was the best he’s ever had. Cocktails were delicious and artfully prepared. I had bibimbop which wasn’t the flavors I expected but everything was fresh and the blackened shrimp were perfectly cooked. Bulgogi, sesame oil and a fried egg on top would have made it a 5. Highly recommend going here.
    Forgotten TonicResponded 4 days ago
Jean, we’re so glad you chose to spend Valentine’s Day with us! It’s fantastic to hear that the hospitality, cocktails, and food all hit the mark—especially that your husband found the fish sandwich to be the best he’s ever had! We appreciate your feedback on the bibimbap; while we put our own spin on it, we’re happy to hear the ingredients were fresh and the shrimp cooked perfectly. What about the flavors wasn’t what you expected? Since you highly recommend us, we’d love to know—what could have made it a 5-star experience for you? Looking forward to seeing you again soon!
