Only one server for the whole dining room with a couple assistants and a manager who offered to get our checks and then walked away and didn’t follow through. Food was great but poor service ruined the experience.

                                                                My beet salad was very tasty. Fried Calamari was a bit too chewy. My husband had the pappardelle with lobster which he did not enjoy at all. Everything tasted like the tomato based sauce it came in. I had the Branzino. Portion size was good for me - small. It was ok but not great. Probably would not order it again though. We had the tiramisu for dessert which was delicious Service was very good and ambiance very nice.

                                                                Our first time before going to the theater, it was great! And they give a discount for folks eating before Blumenthal! It’s 2 minutes walk to Belk. My friend said the appetizer crepe bundles filled with lobster and something were to die for, my eggplant appetizer and beet salad were more than I could eat. Service was attentive and fun. We’ll go again.

                                                                Overall service was slow. Took 30 minutes between presenting the bill and running the credit card for payment. Too long. Food was good. Loved the fact that there were two prices on some of the entrees allowing the diner to have a smaller portion. Ambience was energetic as there was a Broadway play at the theater and concert at the local basketball center.

                                                                All good and nice. Comfortable place nice atmosphere. Small menu lacks more pasta dishes to call itself an Italian restaurant. But the service was great, efficient and friendly.

                                                                We had a 6:15 reservation (2) and were seated promptly, upon being seated we ordered two cocktails. At 6:50 we were still waiting on our cocktails at which time I decided I no longer wanted my cocktail, and upon informing a staff personnel ( manger ?) he brought out our cocktails. Note: there was no charges for our cocktails. The food was just ok.
