Downtown during the weekend the staff was noticeably stressed, overworked and chaotic. The line to check in for the reservation was wild. Once inside they were quick to approach and offer cuts and meet. Every table was packed so it was oncredibly loud and open space was limited. Overall though for the price we will go back however this is not the place for a romantic or top notch service you would get at other steak houses.

I don’t understand why this establishment would accepts an inconsiderate amount of “reservations”. Come to the restaurant, the reservations are simply placeholders for a waitlist. Our “reservation” was at 8pm and didn’t get a text until 8:50pm behind all the numerous amount of people waiting in line to be seated as well.

Beginning with checkin, there was no order nor direction from staff. Everyone stood and watched queued wherever there was space. After check in hostess simply screened out “whomever received a text please come up” and didn’t not verify if customer indeed received text, there were many people who were sat prior to us despite checking in after us. After 40 minutes we were finally sat and we did not have any silverware or plates and our server didn’t greet us for 10 minutes When he finally came and delivered our drinks I ordered sweet tea only for it not be sweet nor did I receive sugar Lastly the food was overcooked and very greasy Would not recommend

I made a reservation for 6:15 and it was OVERBOOKED and people with 5:30 reservations were still waiting to be seated so we did not wait we left and went to another restaurant, was happy about having to wait over 45 minutes when we have a reservation or let alone the other people who had earlier than us and they were outside still waiting to be seated

Horrible, i had a reservation for 6pm waited till 7:30 people started to walk out while i was still waiting in line. The people that were walking out were saying to not even bother keep on waiting because there wasnt any meat left. Soo after waiting more they didn't respect the reservations so i left.

I’m a regular here and this was the busiest night I’ve ever seen. We had a reservation for 5:45 and we weren’t actually seated until 6:30. Monica is the best, she went above and beyond to get us seated and make sure we were taken care of.

Our experience is usually good when we come here, but it seemed like a really busy night. Was too crowded. The meat servers were not coming to our table. We had to tell someone twice to serve us meats. We didn’t get our sides u til we asked for them.

So was taking my wife here for her birthday and what a disappointment this was. 2/15/25 with 5pm reservations. If you guys want to go to a place where the guys with the meat completely disregard your table, this Fogo is the way to go. This was absolutely the worst service we have ever had at a restaurant. Literally trying to wave down the guys with the meats and complete turn your head walk the other way. These guys literally were skipping an entire section and the table next to us were having the same issues . Honestly all we could do was laugh at this point. These guys were so disorganized and it was such a disappointment. For the money we spent it was pretty sad. Even the bar food they didn't even have plates available for us to use. I get people being short staffed ect but I can tell you they were not short staffed. Shame on Fogo on the downtown location. It will be the last time I ever done here again. El Gaupo Gaucho for the win if any of you guys had suggestion. Also the filet migeon that was suppose to be medium rare was dry as dirt. The only person coming around was the picania guy which is literally their cheapest cut. A disappointing experience. And like I said never again will info to this location for the money spent. I hope you Fogo people at corporate and the managers read this!!! You guys have a lot of training and cleaning up to do and if that's not the case you the management really needs to take a look in the mirror and take the blame for this. My families owned a restaurant and worked busy times on Holidays ect and even for a Chinese restaurant it was never this bad service wise. Icing on the cake like I said was dry undercooked meat. To top off our night we also had a server ask if we needed a check 15 minutes into service and I was like "we haven't even seen anyone serve us food or come to our table and your trying to give use the check right now?" Pretty embarrassing Fogo De Chão and Management!!!!
