   Celebrated another friend's birthday today. Our waitress checked on us in a timely manner. Our meal was correct and tasted delicious. Also received a birthday tiramisu dessert with a sparkler for fun.

   We had a very friendly waitress and she always checked on us. Our food was on time. Our food was delicious. We were celebrating my friend’s birthday, and she received a birthday tiramisu with the sparkler and loved it.

   We were excited to visit Flair Taverna on our last day in Texas, but unfortunately, our experience fell short. While we see a lot of potential in this place, it didn’t hit the mark. The portabello mushroom risotto was fantastic, especially the brandy cream sauce, which was exceptional. However, the rest of the meal was disappointing. Our ribeye steak was mostly made up of inedible fat. While I understand ribeyes tend to have more fat, this was excessive. Additionally, the steak arrived undercooked, despite ordering it medium—it was closer to rare. Normally, I would have addressed these issues with our server, but he seemed disengaged, only stopping by to refill drinks. He didn’t check in to see how the food was, and when he asked if we wanted to take the leftover fat home, he ignored my comment about half of the steak being inedible. Overall, our server lacked personality and attentiveness, making the experience feel uncomfortable. We also mentioned in our OpenTable booking that we were celebrating our anniversary. While it’s not required to be recognized, another table that night received a dessert with a sparkler, which felt like a missed opportunity to make our experience special. This oversight is just one example of where the service could have been much better. Hopefully, this was just an off night for the restaurant.

   It’s a “just okay” place. Be very aware- it is VERY dimly lit and thy do play pop alternative type music over the loud speakers. It wasnt too loud the day we visited, but at a somewhat elevated level that might be frustrating for some. For visual and hearing impaired, it might be a tough place to enjoy. The waitress was super attentive and we really liked her. The menu is small and expensive, but the food is…okay. It doesn’t have anything special to it, but it’s not terrible…just…meh. Even though the food arrived quickly, I can’t justify the price we paid for what we received. For example, my son had a $26 pasta that included chicken and shrimp, but there were only two shrimp in the whole bowl. The desserts, on the other hand, were very good, and I believe better priced than the main courses. They are all $12- adequate for the portion size and flavor. I ordered a cannoli, but it was three mini cannoli and goodness it was fantastic. Overall, this just wasn’t our vibe, but I’m sure some people would love it.

   Everything was excellent from the food to the service. The ambience was a little too dark making it hard to see the menu, but overall experience was amazing as always.

   My first date with my now, fiancé was at flair taverna. We sat at the same table. The weight staff was fast and attentive, and they came often to Check but left us alone when we needed to be alone. My special request were taken care of with no problems. This was a wonderful anniversary exactly one year after the first date. Looks like you can count on us every year!

   We decided to have a Company dinner with some people that came down from our Corporate office. Over all everyone had an amazing time loved their food. The atmosphere definitely made the night feel Inviting and welcoming. Service was great, we will definitely return.

    This was our first visit and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is beautiful. Our server was attentive and very friendly. The carpaccio appetizer was phenomenal. We shared the rack of lamb and stuffed shrimp. Both were served with the house risotto and everything was amazing. Very pleased and we will be back soon.
