   I could feel the pretentiousness of this place as soon as I got there. I couldn't get a reservation at 4, but when I arrived at 5, the restaurant was practically empty. They sent us down in the back, far from any table with a view (which is the appeal of this place in my opinion), and the tables with a view stayed empty the whole time I was there (2+ hours) The drinks and food were decent, nothing extraordinary, but the overall experience was a bit disappointing. For a first time business dinner in the city, I don't think I would be rushing back anytime soon. The only highlight would be our server which was amazing, her service was excellent.

   We had Thanksgiving dinner at Fl 2 and it was totally worth it. We ordered the Thanksgiving Plate that serves 2 for $89. It included choice of soup or salad, a large serving of turkey [enough for 4?], mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce, and choice of pie. We had to order a side of stuffing [I found that odd] and the green beans and pototoes weren't quite enough for two. However, our server Giovanni was fantastic and the ambience was perfect. You really can't beat the value.

   The food was very sub-par. Turkey very salty and not warm. Green bean casserole tasted very unpleasant and cranberry-orange complete was sour with no taste of orange. Bourbon-pecan pie had no bourbon and was served cold on a very cold plate. The dinner roles were tough and burnt. Service was spotty. Only the Prosecco was good. None of us will return to F2

   I usually go to Fl. 2 for dinner and wanted to try their breakfast menu. The food was great and service was spot on. Definitely order a side of bacon!

   The restaurant is very nice, clearly high end and expensive. The service could have been better. The waiter kept apologizing for not bringing water but continue to forget it. I had a glass of wine which came quickly but my partners martini was not delivered until the appetizer. I ordered the Halibut which was outstanding; however my caesar salad was uninspiring bordering on awful. I could not find a single anchovy, to many croutons and not enough dressing which in itself was not great and did not appear to be homemade. My partner had the filet which was also extremely good. Overall I would rate the overall experience as a B plus. The restaurant was very busy and crowded which may have been part of he service problem and I would consider giving it another try.

   Fl 2 is a great place if you’re going to the theater however the menu is very limited and unappealing and expensive. I’m sorry $50 for a piece of halibut!! No! 2 salads, appetizers?? I’ve been here in past years and it was so good. Not sure what happened?! Great service & location if going to a show.

   great spot for a pre-theatre dinner. Jared is a knowledgeable and professional waiter who anticipates a diner's needs without being intrusive. Rack of lamb was A+ as was the special fall salad.
