   The freshness of of the seafood at Fishing with Dynamite has been unbeatable compared to other restaurants we have tried in the Manhattan Beach area. The crudo dishes and steamed clams are flavorful and wonderful! I have not enjoyed the sauces of the cooked dishes as the flavors overwhelm the fish for my taste. We enjoyed the new years dinner in the past however the current menu including the Dine LA Curry scallop sauce was very overwhelming and I would not recommend them to anyone who does not care for Cumin. We have had great wait staff and others who are not as attentive however always enjoy dining at the Restaurant since the Peruvian Scallops are the best in town!

   We absolutely love this place! The service was awesome, the ambience was super fun and chill and our food was absolutely delicious!!! 🤤😋 We celebrated a birthday and the entire restaurant was singing happy birthday 🎂

   I came for the Dine LA menu and it was spectacular! The calamari is one of the best I’ve had in the seared scallops were outstanding. The combination of the sauce and all the textures and things on the plate just made sense things I never would’ve thought to put together and it was so delicious. The service was great as well. The bartender that took care of me last time in was my server again and he was super sweet and knowledgeable. And Shelbi another server help me out as well! They were both very kind and attentive. My only criticism would be that the Dine LA menu online said they had Mississippi mud pie which I was really looking forward to, honestly one of the reasons I even wanted to try this spot for Dine LA. But that dessert ended up being a different peanut butter chocolate dessert which was still yummy. But I was really hoping to have the pie as I’m a chocolate-aholic lol

   As usual, the food was delicious, complex and elegant. Lovingly prepared and plated. Fav was Chilean sea bass on a smokey delectable Orso. Least fav was the tuna tartare not because it wasn’t tasty but because it was quite ordinary and portion small. Service was excellent. Overall keep coming back.

   Every time, it’s a phenomenal experience. John served us at the kitchen bar - so nice and knowledgeable. I don’t get here often, but I will always return!!!!

   Very peculiar menu. Supposed to be a seafood restaurant. Located a block from the ocean, yet none of the seafood is local. More of an oyster bar than a fine dining restaurant.

    We went once before and it was phenomenal - food, flavors, service. This time, I’m so sad it was just all okay. Maybe just a bit off their game with the holiday?
