   Excellent February special of salmon with crab fondue and mashed potatoes plus the new Chocolate Mousse pie. We thoroughly enjoyed every bite plus excellent and friendly service. Couldn’t get any better

   We have visited Firebird’s in Tucson twice this month. The initial meal steak, baked potato, broccoli & Caesar salad was very good! We returned to try the brunch menu. I had the shrimp & grits and my husband had the beef tenderloin burrito- everything was great!! We plan to come often.

   This was our first visit to Firebird. Although it wasn’t a bad experience, I guess I was hoping for something a little better it’s a very casual place which is fine, and the service was quite good. Our server, Derek, was very attentive and helped resolve a problem with my meal. My husband had the prime rib which he found to be very tough and not a good value for the money. I asked for the honey garlic chicken to be fried instead of grilled; when I received my dish, I noticed there wasn’t any glaze on the chicken, but Derek was able to give me some glaze on the side which was fine. I did find the chicken to be extremely salty, which definitely didn’t make me want to finish it since I don’t drink, I enjoyed a mocktail . The chocolate mousse dessert was very, very good. Firebirds isn’t a terrible restaurant, but it’s not as upscale as I expected.

   Service was prompt and friendly. Several good menu choices for us gluten free people. It was a nice place for a 70th birthday party. Noisy and fun with a lot of laughs.
