Several staff recognized that this was a birthday dinner. The food was very good. The prime rib is cooked sous vide and then finished in 90 seconds on the grill. They had a vine special three course meal that included lobster tail as the entree so we enjoyed the surf and turf. We had to wait about 5 minutes to get a pepper grinder for our salads which was surprising as it wasn't that busy.

Itiala was a wonderful server. They didn't have the wine we ordered but found one that was comparable and charged us the original price for the more expensive wine that turned out to be fabulous and went wonderfully with our Vine Dinner menu. We will be back for this fantastic Bozeman experience.

From the moment you’re greeted at the entrance, all the way through to when you’re bid farewell on the way out, the experience at Fielding’s is exceptional. From the ambience to the service to the exceptional original fresh made meals with locally sourced meats, fruits, and vegetables, to a vast selection of local beers, wines, and spirits, on through to a custom dessert menu of scratch made desserts, your experience will be one you won’t forget.

Open Table showed the restaurant fully booked during the 3 day window we wanted to visit. Eventually I got a table however the place was not booked ANY of those days. In fact it was mostly empty! Maybe 1/3rd full the night of our visit. I reported this to the restaurant and they were at a lost understand it since they did not have a lot of reservations. This is an open table problem, perhaps They seemed a bit understaffed and the service was very slow. The food however, was quite good and the waitress was Knowledgeable and very nice.

The NYE prefix menu left a lot to be desired. We were very let down be the choices (or lack there of). No one was wow'd over the experience or the food. It all fell short, especially for more than $100 per head. Another point to mention is we were expecting their full menu. Nothing on the website had mentioned a prefix menu which it all should've been handled much better. The staff were warm and friendly. Unfortunately, the overall experience was very disappointing.
