   Korean fried chicken sandwich is a great value. Server was excellent- we ate outside which was noisy due to busses, still less noise than inside.

   The ambience of the restaurant is very lively and fun. One bartender was unfriendly and rude but other people especially one lady who served us was very nice and kind so overall we enjoyed our experience. The quality of food is OK. If you like lively ambience with good drinks and casual food, in downtown, this is a good place to go. If you want good quality quiet dinner, this is not the place.

   2 people party, for entrée, we order pork chop and lasagna. They are all very savory. But do a bit salty side. The meat in the lasagna is kind of “creamy” side. But I like the fresh lasagna noodles, thin and light. Overall, the food is not bad at all and the service is on point. Just on thing, I got charged with wrong wine. I don’t know if I ordered wrong or she typed in wrong. $9 difference🤔 But the wine was tasty so… Next time me, or whoever’s reading my post right now, gonna visit and order wine by glass, make sure to let them show you the wine bottle before pouring. lol

   The food was superb. The restaurant is in a large brick building with high ceilings. It is extremely loud such that hearing the waiter or dinner companions can be challenging. I had the lamb chops, which were very well prepared. However, the steak knife was too dull to separate the meat from the bone. The others in our party had the fish special, which was exceptional!

   This was my first time eating here, and I was very pleasantly surprised. My friend and I enjoyed the 3 delicious spreads with a fantastic bread. There was a red bell pepper, a tapenade and a ricotta with honey. All were unique and flavorful in their own ways. The bread was soft and pillowy inside with a nice and crisp sour-dough-like crust. The Caesar salad was delicious and the dressing was lighter, not so overpowering like a normal Caesar, which I liked. We also had the crispy shrimp on a flavorful pool of tomato sauce. The head-on shrimp were perfectly cooked with a crispy but delicate shell that made it easy to eat, similar to a soft-shell crab where you can eat everything. The sauce was not tart at all, just well-balanced and a perfect complement to the crispy shrimp. We finished off our meal with the olive oil cake and chocolate mousse cake with a flourless chocolate cake crust. The olive oil cake was moist and similar to a light pound cake and was served with a calamansi and lilikoi (passion fruit) sauce. The chocolate cake was rich and silky with a deep, rich chocolate flavor. Overall, the dishes were very well-executed and had unique combinations of flavors that you won’t find at other restaurants. It’s no wonder the chef is a James Beard award winner. I would definitely come back to try some of Fete’s other dishes. If you’re looking for unique and downright delicious dishes, Fete is the place to go!
