We are so excited to get an opportunity to re-open and amazing location in the heart of Vancouver and cook some amazing brunches, dinner, burgers and pizza for all. We will contiune to source local and fresh ingredients and prepare from scratch as many products as we can.

The birthday person also gets a free order of our Fritters or Wings. $5/guest deposit to book. This deposit can be applied to one bill or returned on a gift card.

    Really good experience with the service, drinks and and food. But we were seated in the basement which had a completely different ambiance than the main area…better for large groups. It felt very basic and a bit dead when we were there.

    Burned pizza. Frozen fries. Great server who served the pizza but did take it off the bill. Nice place food meh!

    Absolutely fantastic food. They go above and beyond. Has the breakfast smash burger and it hit every spot. The fries were perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. My sister had the waffles which looked awesome. They were a bit eggier than traditional waffles. I also ordered a caeser which was SO good. The lemon salt rimmer is the best.

    We visited the Kerrisdale Fable restaurant years ago and booked here after a QE live theatre. While the food was good , the rest disappointed. Teh ambiance is like a bar, it was so noisy you couldn't hear your own thoughts, the TVs were up high. It was full due to the local sports scene but we didn't realize it was a Diner and Bar. We liked the intimate quiet environment of the former. Most likely we will not come here again and will recommend its quality food to friends who want a loud bar experience.

    Food was disappointing. The restaurant advertised farm to table. But food quality was very poor. I remember when it was operating as The Kingston and so much better.

    Fable Diner & Bar is my go-to place before every soccer and hockey game as well as concerts. The location is great, I always manage to get a table and the food is good solid pub food at very reasonable downtown prices. It has a friendly old style atmosphere but the best part is the staff. Friendly, fun, unique and always accommodating. Staff sticks around for a long time and gets to know you (and vice versa) over the years. I probably go 2-4 times a month and wouldn’t ever consider changing venue before games/concerts. Love this place.
