   We have spent many years at your restaurant celebrating our anniversary and my husband‘s birthday and for the very first time, we were not given a free dessert for our anniversary and my husband‘s birthday. It was extremely disappointing. I feel like the service in your restaurant has really gone down. I don’t think I will spend my next anniversary there

   Nancy, we truly appreciate your loyalty and the many years you have chosen to celebrate your special occasions with us. It means a great deal to us as a small, independent restaurant. We sincerely regret that your recent visit left you feeling disappointed. While we have, on occasion, extended small gestures of appreciation to our valued guests, offering complimentary desserts has never been a standard practice, simply because it is not something we can financially sustain. Any previous instances where you received one were a heartfelt act of kindness, rather than an established policy. We are truly sorry it impacted your experience and made you forget about all your previous great experiences with us.

   Sat at the bar top per usual… I love that part of the seasonal game menu is now on the full menu! Had the Wild Boar with my wine nom de blue Syrah. Will be back soon to try the venison!

   Splurged on a holiday Monday and once again Et Voila did not disappoint!! I love how the menu changes and the recommendations from wait staff were perfect. Started with the French bread and butter (I can live on this alone). Took the waiters recommendation and tried the beef bourguignon, which was perfectly paired with the French gamay (beaujolais). Loved the wine so much I purchased a bottle to take home and impress my next houseguest Highly recommend for any occasion , or like me , a Monday !

   Not only was this a special dinner for me but also a reminder that places like this are hard to find. I can’t wait to come back. Wine recommendations with my dinner were spot on. All my food and drinks came out fast. If I needed anything, a team member was always near by. Can’t recommend this place enough.

   I rarely dine out but when I do I choose to spend my money here , because I know the service is always going to be outstanding , the food is A-mazing , and it’s always consistent!!! So hard to find a place that has all three of those qualities nowadays! Thank you Et Voila don’t ever change you’re doing EVERYTHING right !!!

    This is consistently the best French Restaurant you will find in San Diego. The menu could easily be from a restaurant in Paris. The food is better than the restaurants I have been able to find in Paris, the few times I have been there, although I have tried to find them. The menu contains standards as well as creative entrees. The staff is really great, maybe the best in San Diego at a restaurant of any type. We have been many times and have had consistently great, attentive, fun but on point service every time. There is no other restaurant in San Diego that I can same the same about. The service is extraordinary. The food is also consistently excellent. The ingredients are always great quality and delicious. Their mussels are good example. Mussels are hard to get right every time. They can be sourced wrong, or sit to long, or cook to long, etc. You might have great mussels some times at a restaurant but not consistently like Et Voila. The same is true with their other dishes, consistently excellent. I am local. I believe my wife and I have been to every highly rated restaurant in San Diego. This is our favorite restaurant.
