   I am so excited for Downtown San Jose after dining at Eos & Nyx. This restaurant is top notch and I cannot wait to go back. It is in the old moving theatre building and it just gave the whole corner new life! The decor is warm and inviting while also being contemporary. The service was amazing. We never had a dirty plate or napkin on our table for more than five minutes. The food? The food is the best I've had in the South Bay since Alexanders in Cupertino 15 years ago. My husband had the NY Strip and I had the pork chop. Both were 5 stars. Their cocktails were the best we've had in a while as well. The couple next to us ordered a pasta dish and a side of their mushrooms and cleaned their plates as well. The amuse bouche, pallet cleanser and dessert samples were a delightful surprise. The only slight negative was how loud it is inside. I love having music but it made it hard to hear the servers. Maybe turn it down a notch. We are already planning when we can go back!

   Well run staff and kitchen. Seating was prompt with reservations. Food was served quickly and most importantly the dishes are very tasty. Nice date spot brunch or dinner.

   Finally a restaurant in downtown San Jose worth writing home about! Hip ambience with excellent creative cocktails, interesting wine list, and very good food. Main entrees presentation was a little underwhelming, but this is just constructive criticism for continued improvements. Hope you keep it up!

   First brunch at Eos & Nyx and it was fantastic. The brunch menu was fun and interesting. We had seven in our group and so were able to try many of the dishes and they were all great.

   You have to book in advance for a larger group of 6 or 8 people and the only time slot we got was 5p that is three weeks prior to the reservation on a Thursday night. It’s a beautiful welcoming space inside with a nice and lively bar. The food is for sharing and a La carte style: we did 3-4 appetizers and 3-4 main courses for 6 people and it was plenty as they give you a welcome appetizer of steak tartare in mini cones, a delicious tamarind lemony palette cleanser before your mains and a chocolate mousse canapé per person all on the house . For appetizers we ordered - The Everything carrots, grilled octopus, Ep trio pita, tagline prawns and for the mains - their half chicken which was delicious,, Daurade En Papillote- their whole fish- and lamb chops were all great and flavorful: we also ordered the sides of Brussels and cauliflower.. Overall a good dining experience except we felt a little rushed as they kept removing plates quickly to bring out the next dish. Ii think if they spaced out the food a bit and let you sit back and enjoy your meal with friends it would be a nicer experience. I will definitely come back if I’m in downtown San Jose.

   Wonderful experience at this new restaurant in downtown San Jose. The brunch, my Bloody Mary and ambiance were all exceptional..But the best thing was how friendly and attentive the staff were! They elevated the meal just by being so nice. We will be back for dinner!

    Sat at the bar for brunch. All the bartenders were very attentive and super nice. Especially Steven. Shout out Steven 💯. Food came out quick after ordering and was delicious. We ordered the eggs benny and the polenta. Both delicious. The only thing I will say is that I wish the eggs Benny had more sauce. But maybe a saucy Benedict is just my preference. I will be coming back for brunch 100%
