A typical food love story. A boy meets a girl while eating pizza. He attends culinary school and open’s a pizza restaurant named after the girl. Thus bringing us to Emily! The Manhattan iteration of the Brooklyn based pizzeria centered around a historic brick oven and comforting food. Emily has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies and award winning burger. The pizza here is rectangular (not round) and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy brown exterior. Beyond the main event, the menu extends to include salads and sandwiches, which shouldn't be ignored (think an attention-grabbing burger and a top-notch spicy fried chicken sandwich).

Please note, there will be a time limit of 1 hour 30 minutes for guests so we can fairly utilize our limited capacity. Our outdoor dining is enclosed with heaters that will keep you toasty! Thank you :)

Get an afternoon reservation. Get the burger. That simple. Delicious. Would and probably will come back if I’m in New York and this is in the line of the things I’m going to see that day.

Food was good. Waitstaff was rude. Said they needed our table but restaurant wasn’t full. Had to stand out in the rain to wait for uber but no one was waiting for table. It was a customer dinner and we were embarrassed to have chosen the restaurant.

outstanding experience! we have been coming to Emily WV since it opened. While the food has alwys been stellar, service has steadily declined…until this visit. Our server was outstanding and made our evening very enjoyable.
