   ember was absolutely incredible - the perfect date spot for our anniversary. the service, decor, and food were all amazing (prices are reasonable as well). definitely try the crispy tuna and wood fired halloumi. will be back again for sure.

   A fantastic fusion of Japanese inspired and modern cuisine where everything on the menu is either fire touched or smoked. Exquisitely presented dishes, suitable for sharing (even encouraged). Cocktail selection is unique, and matched with the food as as the wine list. I've now been here several times over the past few months and the standard continues to be high. Very highly recommended.

   Ember is my favourite restaurant in Ottawa HANDS DOWN. Everything on the menu is incredibly delicious and the presentation of the food is stunning. I took some friends there and we were all blown away by how good every single thing we ordered was. I’m so happy this restaurant exists and will be back many many many times <3 Thanks guys!!!

   We thoroughly enjoyed our meal with you. We shared about 11 plates. Everything was grand! My favs included the spicy crispy tuna, coal-roasted eggplant, wood fire halloumi, the whole roasted branzino, and the Turkish lokma. Our server checked in routinely without interrupting our conversational flow. Perfect night.

    Lovely spot, great service, great value. We took my mother here for her birthday and everyone left happy and full. There’s clearly a sense of passion for food and drink here as the menu was very innovative. Great addition to Ottawa, we’ll be back.
