   I know this place has a steak house vibe, but the swordfish is sublime. Speciality cocktails are also outstanding.

   Great restaurant over looking the batiquitos lagoon, the service was excellent. We ordered the scallop ceviche which had an amazing taste, the tortilla chips were super fresh. The apple beet salad “ wow” amazing dressing never had anything like this. Finally the waygu burger super tasty and super fresh French fries

   The menu was underwhelming for a prefix option. The food was not impressive. The dessert was definitely underwhelming.

   The restaurant tried to be a 5 star experience but was not quite there. The food was okay but the portions were very small. And the drinks were extremely expensive.

   Disappointing. Average food at over inflated prices. Add the “mandatory gratuity” of $80 (on the $400 price for two people, each with one drink) it was not worth it. My wife and I are happy to spend $500 on dinner. But it should be a memorable experience.

   They should be ashamed of themselves. This was by far the worst meal I have had in years. Can’t give them the benefit of the doubt either. A table of 2 had a 20% tip included, which tells you they are scamming their customers by removing a recourse of bad food and service. They bill themselves as a Steakhouse, yet only had a small filet as an option. The meal was rushed as they were trying to turnover tables.

   I made a reservation for Ember & Rye in January 2025 for Valentine’s Day 2/14/25. On 2/13/25, I received an email from Ember & Rye stating they will have a set dinner menu and a la cart options would not be available for Valentine’s Day. It was already too late to make another reservation for Valentine’s Day because most restaurants were already fully booked. When my wife and I got to the restaurant, the food options for the set menu were not good. They served small portions and the food was not good. The price was incredibly expensive for what was served. The restaurant Charged $160 per person, which did not included beverages. They also charged an automatic 20% gratuity. The total bill for my wife and I was $477. This was for small portions and horrible tasting food options. I am used to dining at upscale steak restaurants such as Steak 41, Mastro’s, Flemings, and Ruth Chris. This was one of the worst places I dined at regarding price and what was served. When I initially made the reservation, the restaurant should have notified me in advance that they were serving a set menu. Also, they should inform customers they charge a 20% gratuity which is ridiculous.

   Unfortunately - the food wasn’t up to expectations. We both ordered steaks medium rare and they came out extremely rare - and crust/flavor wasn’t what I expected for a steak house and cost level. Service was decent and the location is amazing. Not sure we’ll come back.
