   The restaurant was almost empty, and we were seated next to another table at a smaller table. The pizza was bland. The salads were under salted and flavorless. Pasta sauces had a bitter aftertaste. Meatballs were dry and tasteless.

   We went to Ella’s Christmas buffet event. While there were several dishes that we enjoyed and our waiter was very nice, the overall experience lacked in several areas. We made a 7:30pm reservation, not knowing that the buffet was scheduled to end around 8pm. When we got there, part of the dishes served were all finished and while they seemingly tried to replenish some, the new potatoes gratin they brought were really undercooked (almost raw, to the point where they could not be consumed). The bread pudding was all done and they didn’t bother bringing extra. The menu featured tiramisu for desert but there was none (they had cheesecake instead). Around 8pm they started clearing out the buffet dishes which was very awkward for us given we had only been there for 30’. Overall not a great experience which was particularly disappointing given the Christmas day dining.

   Over priced, crowded and food that lacked taste! Will not go back. We were hoping for a nice Christmas dinner. Stat we got was an over priced meal that was not anything special !

   Food quality was absolutely incredible and the service was just as incredible! However, the kindness and hospitality from both Jay, our server, and Chef Charles was truly the best part of our dining experience. I just sold my 3 restaurants near the Gators football stadium so I am definitely am very picky yet both Jay and Charles completely blew me, my wife and 4 kids away! No trip to Nashville is complete unless you visit Ella’s by Chef Christian Petroni especially due to Chef Charles and if you are lucky enough to get Jay as your server!

   Had the Christmas dinner buffet. The restaurant was simple and elegant. Had just enough food options. Tried a little bit of everything. Our server was great and everything was delicious! A wonderful Christmas dinner.

   The tenderloin was very rare. The cow was still bleeding and mooing. I could have understood medium, medium well, but for it to be spilling blood on your plate was disgusting. The potatoes and carrots were not done. It was hard to cut them with a knife. Basically for $87 not including tip, I ate some pizza and a piece of cheesecake and a Dr. Pepper. I was HIGHLY disappointed and would not come back.

   Our desire was to have a special Christmas Eve dinner in Nashville. Ella’s did not let us down. Our waiter was great and we had the best salmon piccata ever! Absolutely delicious! Highly recommend Ella’s by Christian Petroni.

   Fantastic food and service. The atmosphere does not fit the food at all. Shame, it may effect its longevity.

    We loved our first experience at Ella's and can't wait to return. The food and cocktails were delicious, beautifully presented, and robust portions. Our server, Chris, was knowledgeable about the menu and genuinely seemed so happy to be there. We appreciated that the GM came to check in on us when we got our first few bites.
