   The wings were amazing. The fries could have had an extra bit of cooking time as they were not crispy. I would definitely recommend eating here

   Visited Elephant and Castle Churchtown on Saturday Evening for dinner. Very disappointing! Food very basic/small portions and bad value for money. The service was excellent and our waiter was lovely. However it didn't make up for the food - won't be returning anytime soon!

   We asked for iced coffees and they were hot coffees with ice thrown on top. Not enjoyable. My poached eggs arrived hard boiled and not very warm.

   I’ll start by saying that we’d never choose to eat here after a couple of mediocre takeaways a couple of years ago but we had some Press Up vouchers that we needed to use. There were only 3 other tables occupied when we arrived for brunch. Our server was so pleasant throughout our meal and that was the highlight. The space itself is airy and well decorated. The ladies toilet floor was absolutely filthy, one soap dispenser was broken, the other was empty and it wasn’t even 11:30am. We ordered the eggs chiapas, avocado toast with extra sausage and rigatoni with tomato sauce and parmesan from the kids menu. The eggs chiapas were delicious but eye-wateringly expensive at almost €17 for two eggs, two corn torillas, two strips of streaky bacon and some smears of guacamole, refried beans and salsa verde. Both poached eggs on the avocado toast were like bullets. The rigatoni was simultaneously hot and cold and broke apart when trying to pick it up with a fork. Normally I’d send those dishes back but as I previously mentioned, we were only there to spend a voucher and didn’t feel like waiting to have the issues resolved. We also ordered the pancakes with maple marscapone and roasted pecans and these were delightful. The hot chocolate, orange juice and coffee were all good. So some good points, some bad but overall expensive for what we got.

    Great staff, so friendly and chatty and didn’t mind us staying on later as the table wasn’t required back. Food was delicious too.
