El Traditional is a restaurant and cantina serving classic Mexican cuisine and cocktails. The bright, colorful interior makes for a festive and relaxing atmosphere where guests can enjoy the flavors of Mexico. El Traditional earns its name with a menu that is full of the standard dishes of the region, each executed well with bold flavors and eye-pleasing plating.

Guests here enjoy the variety of tacos, enchiladas and burritos available but also appreciate the specials of the house, which are prepared fresh daily. The pollo azteca is tender grilled chicken breast with chihuahua cheese, while the fajitas el rey are served with chicken, steak, chorizo, shrimp and nopal over a layer of mild salsa. Don't forget to order one of the house-special margaritas, made fresh with tequila, lime and a from-scratch sour mix. Make sure to save room for one of El Traditional's famous churros for dessert.

While the location, ambiance and room capacity was nice, the restaurant was overpriced compared to other Mexican restaurants in area. Also they need much better vegetarian and food-allergen friendly options to bring me back there. The chips are cooked in same fryer as seafood and chicken - so no tortilla shells or chips for us. Plus we called ahead and were told the beans and rice would be OK for us, only to learn the rice had chicken stock. We were very limited with what we could order and concerned to get the correct feedback if they had already been mistaken before.

I've been to this restaurant several times before and unfortunately was disappointed on my last visit. Three of the four of us in our group ordered fajitas and they were all tasteless. I don't know if there was a different cook in the kitchen but definitely needed more spices on the fajitas.

worst food and terrible service. I took my kids there and ordered a veggie burrito. all it has was onions and peppers. that’s not food especially for the price. avoid!

We had a great time! It was a warm night so we sat in their outdoor patio space. The food and drinks were excellent. My husband and his best friend really loved the jalapeño poppers! Our waiter was excellent as well.

Need more varieties of vegan food. Everything is full of cheese or meat. Mexican food has lots more veggies then onions.

Our reservation was honored as soon as we arrived. The rest of the visit was bad. The noise is terrible. It's so loud in there that you cannot hear your table mates. The service is very slow. The food came quickly but was mediocre at best. Unfortunately we will not come back.
