   The food is really not worth the price they’re charging people. Turkey and Ham were dry. The stuffing is sooo salty! The mac n cheese is cold and cheap, most of the food are cold and the mashed potatoes are only good with the gravy. El Torito could’ve done better! Very disappointing and will not be back!

   Overall … kinda disappointing. The food selection seems to get less and less with each year. For $41.99 a person theirs no value. It was almost impossible to get any fresh items. With the exception of the stuffing which we did get fresh which was good. Even though we did several laps trying to get other items as they were replenished but were unsuccessful. Maybe staffing was an issue, I’m not sure.

   The food was absolutely delicious and we had very good service. I highly recommend coming here for dinner, a special occasion or even for a holiday. The buffet was nicely organized, lots of freshly prepared food and such a great variety.

   Busy Thanksgiving brunch. Food was ok. Not bad but nothing was spectacular and memorable. Mediocre at best. Service was slow but they did the best they could due to the busy holiday. Once the check was brought we noticed a charge for a “surcharge fee”. We asked the server what that was and he brought us a generic looking placard that was NOT on any of the tables. It stated they charge a 3.99% surcharge fee because they are a local business and this fee is to offset the rising cost of living and rising prices! Um…. What!?? This is a huge restaurant chain. This is ridiculous! We asked if this can be taken off and were told no. This placard was not on the table or any tables. How dishonest can they be to add this to your check and claim they can not remove it because no where do they tell you about it. We were not even given a menu because it was a buffet so they can not claim this was written on a menu, if it even is! Beware please check your bills because who knows what else they are charging you for without your knowledge!? Shame on them.

   I love this El Torito on The Pier in Redondo Beach. The view of the ocean and beach is beautiful and the food and service are great. We had the fajita duo with beef and chicken and the carnitas street tacos. All delicious!

   Shrieking toddlers. Waiter complaining about tips. Drinks took 25 minutes (2 alcoholic). Soup expensive for size & mostly tortilla strips. Appetizer platter came with entrees & no cheese on nachos!!?? Very slow service. We chose to give you another chance & very disappointed again.

   I love, love Mexican food. And my boyfriend took me to eat at El Torito! Is been so long since I came to this facility and let me tell you is even better than before!! Beautiful ocean view!! Great margaritas and avocado!

    The food was okay. But for a Friday night it was so slow and it took us maybe 10 minutes for someone’s to come greet us at the host stand . Then we got seated with chips and salsa. Waited another 25-30 minutes for a sever to ask us is someone had been to our table yet while 5+ server where just talking and doing laps around the restaurant. Ordered an appetizer and an anger to share and it was ok . Don’t get the flight the price is nice but it’s not worth it just get a vodka soda or whatever you’re better off. Definitely not worth 120. I’m a local and I definitely won’t be back. I’m better of at sharkeez for fajitas
