El Pinto is open for outdoor covered patio dining and indoor seating.

Open daily. Monday through Thursday from 11am-9pm. Friday & Saturday 11am-10pm. Sunday 10:30am-9pm.

Nestled in the cottonwoods, El Pinto was founded with 10 tables in 1962. Twin brothers John and Jim Thomas, carry on the family tradition and have expanded El Pinto into the quintessential "Spot" for healthy and fresh New Mexican cuisine. Experience an authentic Taste of New Mexico.

The Salsa Twins are pairing tradition with innovative healthy nutrition at El Pinto. El Pinto established the first and only Animal Welfare Approved laying hen program on property. 250 hens lay pasture raised eggs for daily use. An onsite green house produces over 5,000 lbs of organically grown greens.

Freshness is throughout El Pinto. El Pinto uses chile from Hatch, NM, pasture raised pork from Kyzer Farms, and local grass fed beef.

We had a reservation for 6, we were seated right away. Drinks came out right away and we ordered food. Everything was delicious especially the red chili ribs and enchiladas. Our waitress was very good and efficient (wish I’d caught her name)

Great restaurant, great service… only complaint is the fact they charge a service fee to use a credit card. Even though they have also increased prices of meals. I understand the increase on meals, but get rid of the “convenience fee” since they do not have to handle cash.

The seating offered exceptional viewing and one-of-a-kind dining that was memorable and cause to hope it would never end.

Everything about our visit today was a "10". Antoinette greeted us at the front and took the time to find us just the right table on the patio. Dominic was our waiter, and he is one of the best we've had in a long time. Very quick, friendly, informative, attentive, accurate. He guided us on the best way to order BOGO (which by the way thank you so much for these BOGO offers) and talked with us about the Open Table reservation process. Our order was a little complicated, but he was patient and didn't miss a detail. The kitchen did an excellent job of getting the order out perfectly, deliciously, and quickly. we thoroughly enjoyed our enchiladas and huevos rancheros, chips and salsa, and sopaipillas. Dominic checked back with us regularly while also attending other customers and assisting another wait person. Well done El Pinto!

They say us in I’m not sure if it was a smoking section or just around people who smelled that bad. Other than that our experience was amazing over all a 8/10

Excellent food and service. Back room had excessive smoke from the fire place which made the event less enjoyable
