   The service (Sam) was terrific, the food is some of the best and consistent on the Square, and the space is terrific. Always a pleasure to dine at The Kitchen.

   One of the most enjoyable and delicious dining experience for us. Lily was our server who was well versed and knew the menu items in detail. I wish I could have ordered one if each menu item to taste the magic of the food at EDK. The filet was amazing and was served with an array of vegetables that were cooked perfectly. The Short ribs were the absolute best. The brussel sprouts were unique with the golden raisins and should not be missed. A truly wonderful dining experience !

   My husband and I had an early dinner at El Dorado Kitchen on a Sunday night. The host was very friendly and gave us the choice between sitting outside or inside. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful and answered all menu-related questions we had. However, I ordered the filet mignon and asked how it would be prepared if I said "medium rare." The waiter indicated it would be a warm pink center, so I ordered my filet as medium rare, and my husband ordered his flank steak the same way. Unfortunately, both steaks were overcooked. I'd say they were closer to medium well, rather than medium rare. I don't think it's that the waiter misunderstood; I think the kitchen just overcooked them. They were still very edible, just not at all juicy and pretty flavorless. The filet came with a smattering of carrots and 2 smallish new potatoes. I wished I'd gotten the flank steak, because my husband's french fries were quite tasty! We split a mixed green salad beforehand, which was more than enough for both of us, and it was good. Not overly "weedy" with a nice dressing. My husband ordered a spicy margarita (it had a name, but now I can't remember it), and it was really good, but was indeed spicy as promised! All and all, it was a decent meal and a nice ambiance, but the steaks were very disappointing. We didn't bother complaining or asking for them to be remade, as we just generally don't tend to do that unless something is completely wrong or inedible.

   Not very happy with how long it took for the food to come out -- even the oysters took 20+ minutes to come out. We kept watching fritto misto going to diners who arrived after we did. Our server was nice, though. For the amount of $$ that we spent ($250+ for 2 people), I expected a way better value for our money with attentiveness and hot piping food that's out fast.

   Our server, Jordan was friendly and gave us perfect wine pairing recommendations to go with the surf (scallops) and turf (shortribs) dishes we shared. Very much enjoyed the beet salad to start. We were too full for dessert but I am sure you can't go wrong because all the food was so delicious and beautifully presented in an up-level CA casual style. If I lived in Sonoma, I'd be a regular!

   Service was excellent and the food was fantastic. We had beet salad and Caesar salad to start off our meal. We split the Seafood Paella and Lobster cannelloni. Both dishes did not disappoint. We were stuffed and enjoyed every bite. We celebrated our 47th Wedding Anniversary and the hostess gave us a happy anniversary card along with complimentary champagne in honor of our special anniversary celebration. Thank you to the staff of EDK for making this evening so memorable!

    As always good food & GREAT SERVICE! Shout out to our server, Samuel J. He was terrific. Just the best. The whole team at Ed’s Kitchen was terrific as always. Very nice & personable. As long time Sonoma residents, this has become one of our favorite places to celebrate significant events like Birthdays & Holidays.
