   We went to El Carlos Elegante and were blown away on all levels by the quality of this restaurant. I felt like I was transported out of the “food scene” of Dallas to a genuine culinary experience that was about more than just food OR feeling. It was elegant, yet homey, delicious and well thought out. I felt like i was being hosted by the staff, not simply served. It’s clear this is place that is about serving people and going beyond the expectation. This easily climbed to one of my favorite restaurants, second only to Pasqual’s in Santa Fe NM. Great work, El Carlos!

   Another great meal and experience at El Carlos Elegante! We started with cocktails, Cherry Moon and Negroni Cafe, and both were great. The one-hitters, Surf + Turf and Brisket, were exceptional. Don’t miss those two! The Salmon Ceviche and Okra + Shishitos were spot on as usual. We rounded out our meal with a hand-made masa, Chorizo Molotes, which was delicious. Nice crunch on the masa, stuffed with chorizo and refried beans and served with warm salsa roja. The atmosphere was cozy and festive at the same time. To add to the fun, the restaurant was tastefully decorated for the holidays. We’ll definitely be back. A “go-to” restaurant for us. The food and service never disappoints.

   Duro Hospitality continues to impress! We came for a birthday dinner and had a great night! The food was excellent- the crab cakes, octopus, and shishito peppers were standouts. Service was a bit slow, but very friendly and they ended up comping one of our dishes. We mentioned it was a birthday dinner for two people at the table and they brought out two desserts that were also comped (and delicious - the key lime and the Mexican chocolate). Overall would be happy to go back, but will plan for a longer meal. The restaurant was also quite loud and would be difficult to enjoy for anyone who is hard of hearing.

   First time for us. Simply outstanding! Wonderful ambiance, great service and really tasty, excellent food. A new favorite.

   We had a fantastic experience at El Carlos Elegante. The food, service, and ambiance were all 10 out of 10. We especially enjoyed our table sat right by the fireplace which made for a cozy festive meal. Can’t wait to come back again.

   Best Mexican cuisine in Dallas, food is awesome very flavorful. Service is great. A must try and you won't be disappointed.

   What a cool space! Great energy even on a Sunday night. Service was fantastic. Food is outstanding! Love that everything is designed to share. Whatever you do, don't skip on the homemade masa. We'll definitely be back.

   We had a great time , we had a bar. Reservation , not a spot for a romantic dinner ,, but we have been married 45 years so it was fine . Some of the people seated next to us were stuffy but we can for the food and service . We started out with margaritas and they were great . Next we ordered the elegante experience . We loved it !!! Around 7 courses and everything was excellent . Not a bad way to go for first timers . The staff and management were friendly and efficient . We will return . I can see why they have received so many 5 star reviews . Thanks to everyone for making an old couple feel comfortable and wanted !! Cheers !!

    Great food and drinks! Our server was amazing! Only reason I gave it a 4/5 is because the manager came to our table 10min after we were sat and said we had a time limit on our table, which was understandable since it was a Saturday night. However, she came back again and told us we must put in our food due to that time limit. My entire party was put off by her. As adults, we only need to be told once about an expectation. We were finished prior to the time we were told we needed to leave. Our server said she was stressed due to a busy night but that stress should not be evident to the guests.
