Now well into our third decade in business, Eddington’s attributes the restaurant’s success to creating flavorful and creative meals consistently using the best of Huron County’s bounty.
Owner James Eddington states “we are so blessed to be living in such an agriculturally rich area of the world”.
Although the local food movement is really starting to take off, it has always been the driving force in Eddington’s kitchen. A menu that changes frequently, as each season inspires the delicacies our region has to offer.
Eddington’s occupies the original Carling homestead (built in the 1870’s). After two major renovations, an addition of the a new dining room and a serene outdoor backyard summer patio, the restaurant has a clean and modern look while maintaining its traditional and warm feel.

    Always consistent, never disappoints. We invited friends to meet us there that had never been and they loved it! We will meet again when the beautiful patio is open!

    Got to try a summer menu item that just dropped! Summer bowl is going to be my new favourite/ the shrimp really are colossal!! Also cannot wait for the patio to open / best vibes !

    Dinner with friends on a Friday night. The shrimp linguini was AMAZING! Chicken Applebee is always excellent. Wine sourced from a local winery was a perfect pairingand very tasty. Bravo for shopping and being Canadian

    What a wonderful evening! The best food, the most attentive service and a lovely setting in which to enjoy it all. Highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion or just because. Their summer patio is a do not miss which I look forward to enjoying in a couple of months.
