   Here’s the updated version with a different word: The food and service at Earl’s were excellent, and I’ll definitely return. However, I do have one issue. When I made the reservation, I appreciated being asked to provide special occasion details, and I noted that it was for a birthday. However, when our group arrived, the staff at the host stand asked aloud whose birthday it was, unintentionally ruining the surprise I had planned. While I value the effort to acknowledge special occasions, I’d suggest that Earl’s staff take a more discreet approach in the future. Confirming with the person who made the reservation about how they’d like the celebration handled would ensure a smoother experience.

   The staff and service is always exceptional. The food is great. We have been regularly going since 1995! Highly recommend Earls on Fir St.

   Excellent meat falls off the bone, bbq ribs The cajun chicken was also great. Topped off with some coleslaw and warm potato salad Made for a great dinner.

   Wonderful place to celebrate a birthday. They were very kind to the birthday girl and her guests and gave complimentary warm chocolate cake and ice cream. This caught us off guard, but was so appreciated!

   Always a good time at Fir street Earls. They went above and beyond by writing my niece a card to celebrate her first dance recital and a complimentary chocolate cake to celebrate her. We were truly touched by the service we received and generosity.
