For decades, Dunston's Steakhouse in Dallas has served classic steaks and other home-style Texas dishes in its relaxing and welcoming restaurant. The breaded and fried mushroom poppers and the tender calamari make delectable appetizer selections. Some of Dunston's Steakhouse's specialty entrée dishes include fried chicken breast, the grilled farm raised catfish and the grilled salmon, all of which come with sides like our pinto beans, fried okra and baked potato. Of course, Dunston's Steakhouse is all about top-quality mesquite grilled steaks, like the bone-in ribeye, the bacon-wrapped filet and the New York strip, all prepared to order. The atmosphere was extremely calm and welcoming, the food was amazing from the appetizers to the desserts. Wonderful experience and our server was amazing!

This was a nice place in an older simi industrial neighborhood. For sure, nothing to see outside. Inside a nice, well lit dining room with simple furnishings. The staff was as expected in a texas steakhouse, friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. The food was good but not prime, and the prices reflected that. A decent steak was under $30 with a few good options. Our lunch was fresh, tasty, and prompt.

This steakhouse gem has been in the same location for at least 50 years. It offers exceptionally prepared steaks in a 60’s cowboy setting. The steaks are wonderful and I can’t believe how affordable the prices are. It’s been one of our favorite steakhouses for 45 years plus. Mr. Dunston is always there to great and sometimes take your orders. It’s still very popular so reservations are highly recommended.
