   As always a pleasure to wander around the gallery and have a lovely lunch at Duke’s. One of my favourite places to visit in East Lothian !

   Good food but very noisy with children running up and down when hot food/beverages were being served! Staff should have spoken to parents! Also disturbing diners!

   Lovely gallery, staff friendly. Food was lovely in bistro, highly recommend the soup of the day. Will definitely visit again.

   A disappointing 2nd visit to The Dukes. The main cafe area was cold and there was a delay in our food order that arrived more than 10 mins after our drinks. Apparently one chef down and admittedly busy, I feel greater customer care and understanding should have been shown in the circumstances.

    I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Dukes. The gallery on the way in is bright, warm and welcoming with so many different crafts to buy as well as paintings. The atmosphere in the cafe is very chilled, it is beautifully decorated and it’s dog friendly. I had a delicious brunch. I ordered the brunch bowl and a cappuccino which were both very tasty. The service was excellent and the menu had lots of options. Would highly recommend for a pre or post walk in this gorgeous area.
