   A very interesting and creative menu. Service can be slow however so plan to make an evening of it. 4 out of 5 stars.

   My favorite restaurant on SSI. The food is innovative and truly unique for the area. The service team is always on it and seems to all be so enthusiastic what they are delivering.

   The steak special was a ribeye that was market price at $135; our fault for not asking about the price prior to ordering, however the price did not correlate with the quality of the dish AT all. So overpriced that it really painted the rest of our evening with a negative light. The service was good and my cocktails were great, but I simply cannot return to a restaurant whose prices so inaccurately represent the dishes themselves.

   Anna, I am very sorry that you had a bad experience with us. I understand the feeling you are describing. We never want our guests to feel like they did not receive excellent food and service for the money they are spending. I would absolutely like to reimburse you for your steak.     Our first time at Dorothy’s. Our reservations were for 6:45 but we didn’t get seated until about 7:15. Fortunately there were seats at the bar and we ordered some wine. The place is very loud and crowded. The tables are really close together so if you’re looking for something romantic or wanting to have a private conversation it’s a no go. This all being said, the food is delicious! We ordered several different small plates to share and to try a variety of dishes and they were all excellent. The wine, while pricey was also excellent! We will definitely return.

    Catherine I am very sorry that we were not able to seat you in a timely manner on the night of your reservation. If I was aware of the situation I would have done more to correct the situation while you were still here. I realize you may not be local, but if you ever come back please ask for Daniel and I would love to treat you to some drinks and food on us. Thank you for dining with us!
