   We enjoyed the food and the server was friendly and attentive. Felt there was no character to the room. AC was poor - too warm for comfort.

   We had to wait for an hour to get our bread! Then the bread and main meals arrived together. We did have the cost of our two drinks taken off the bill which was good. Not sure if we will come back to Donninis.

   This is the best Italian in Melbourne, heck, Australia! Non pretentious , Service is Group 1 The food is nothing short of of biblical. Epic foccacia Best Arancini I’ve ever had Spinach & ricotta tortelli is the stuff of gods. Panna cotta for dessert was nothing short of silk. Just do yourself a favour and go here.

   I had high expectations about dinner there but when our meal was served the pasta was under cooked and the flavour was very boring. Grocery store spaghetti sauce would have been tastier. Sorry for the bad review but it was simply disappointing

   Donnini's lived up to its great reputation with excellent food and friendly helpful service. There was another party there having a birthday and everyone in the restaurant sang happy birthday with them. It's that kind of place. Our party included my 90 year old mum with her walker and the staff were very good with her too. All the food was yummy and the wine was great. They allowed us to split the bill which was also helpful.

   Fantastic food. Premium quality. The little skinless sausages and the foccacia were standouts. Really good, professional service. Totally recommend it

   Outstanding service and food! Whilst visiting from Cairns we had dinner at Donnini's and were instantly impressed by the service followed by amazing fresh Italian food. We enjoyed it so much we had to go back the next night. After chatting to the owner he explained they were a family run business which we loved. We will definitely be back next time we are visiting.

    Outstanding pasta. Cannoli dessert was best ever. Fish okay. Salad good. Service very good. I love this place for it's genuine food. Not cheap but worth it sometimes.
