Domenico Winery is a family owned and operated boutique winery located in San Carlos, California. We specialize in Italian varietals and have been making award-winning wine for more than 20 years. Our vineyard is located in the Sierra Foothills in Amador County, California, where our two estate wines, Syrah and Primitivo, are grown. Join us for wine tastings, lunch or dinner at our Osteria, public events, and private celebrations - we are the SF Peninsula's premiere private events venue! I’m so glad I pick this restaurant. I picked it because it didn’t have any 1 star reviews. I really liked the entrance resembling a napa winery and the atmosphere was outstanding. We sat inside which I liked that the tables were spread out. It was cool seeing the chef tossing the pizza dough in the air. The appetizers we ordered included the calamari, meatballs, and focaccia bread. They were all to die for. The entree’s we ordered included the Amore’s (meat lovers) and Margherita pizza. The only thing I would’ve asked to modify for the food is to add more cheese on the Margherita Pizza. Keep in mind all the food was flavorful and tasted like authentic Italian food. The food was cheaper than expected. For how great this restaurant is I thought it would’ve been pricer. For the service our server was very patient with my mom and he explained prices and the portion sizes. It was my birthday and usually I am used to the servers singing happy birthday but the server left the dessert and walked away. Other than that his service was good. PS. I used to be a server at an Italian restaurant and the food here was at a better quality. I hope Domenico continues to prevail.

Food was good, cozy ambiance and staff were friendly. Kelly their manager/bartender was very accommodating, we were late for our reservation but he told us not to worry as they will still hold our table for us. We enjoyed our food and will come back. I hope to try their pig roast next time.

I took my daughter to Domenico to celebrate her 22nd bday. It was amazing! The staff was awesome.

The weather was amazing today and our server was so conscientious of making sure the heater was on for us… we had a fabulous and non-rushed afternoon today… amazing!

Most of the food we had was very good: burrata, brussels sprouts, pizza, and pork chop were all very good. Salmon was cooked well but tasted a bit fishy. Service was attentive and friendly. Ambience was lacking as outdoor seating is next to parking lot of industrial buildings; vibe is probably better when there are more diners.

This is a nice option for wine and small plates at the bar inside. The service is very good, but the food menu is hit or miss. And unless the weather is conducive to patio dining, there are only a few indoor tables to choose from.
