   I’ve been waiting to eat here for years and I was disappointed. Mediocre food that is extremely overpriced! The pizza we ordered was so salty. We had to keep sipping water after every bite. Floors were dirty and staff wasn’t too impressive either.

   We booked the Reveillon meal for the Holidays as an offered event; we booked this 2 months in advance. When we arrived, we were told that the Reveillon meal is not being served that day. The chairs are plastic…I expected better at Domenica, especially in the Roosevelt Hotel. The Caesar salad is the worse I have ever had and the croutons nearly broke a tooth. The Carbonara pasta was the worst I’ve ever had, and was soupy. This was one of the most disappointing meals I have ever had. The other Domenica Pizza location is a million times better.

   Menu prices online, and in the restaurant was different. Whats really confusing is the check even had different prices from the menu. Food was ok but for that kind of money I will probably not be back.

   Great service today on Christmas day! So busy but servers were awesome. I messed up on timing of my reservation but they worked hard to accommodate my mistake. Food was great and good quantity.

   Flavor is hit and miss. Some good but few dishes are super salty. Roasted cauliflower and veal are both good. White truffle pasta doesnt have much flavor. Cannoli that came with reveillon dinner is very blend and outer shell is stale. Overall is still a nice restaurant with good atmosphere at Roosevelt.

   We were seated right at the front door- I don’t it’s appropriate to have table so close to the entry. Our service was some what slow. Not only was it Christmas, but my husband’s birthday as well. The meal we had from the appetizer, the pasta, lasagna and pizza which we all shared was some of the worst Italian food I have ever had. The pizza was salty, the lasagna was salty and the pasta we had wea not editable! The only redeeming part of the meal were the drinks and desert. By far the worst meal we have ever had in New Orleans- hands down! Would not recommend.

    Our family has been eating at Domenica’s, traditionally, ever Christmas Eve. However, the last few years has been a different experience with the food and the service. The servers seem overwhelmed and are not as friendly as in years past. It starts from the beginning at the hostess stand, to the server, and the some of support staff. The food is underwhelming for the price. The cocktails are extremely overpriced. I’m hoping the management will pay more attention to service and help them understand the importance of specs in the kitchen and to practice smiling and a better attitude, on the floor, to make me want to return. We, as a society, have lost 😞 sight of what true service is. Service with a SMILE.
