   Celebrate our anniversary at Dleña first time dining in. Kristyana was phenomenal so attentive and definitely recommend all the great things they had to offered. Wife and I enjoyed everything about this place. Food was amazing and drinks were amazing. Definitely recommend it. Highly recommend the empanadas and Mexican old fashioned.

   The food at D Lena was honestly the highlight—really flavorful and well-prepared guacamole & crab dip . That said, the overall experience left a lot to be desired. The restaurant is extremely dark—so much so that it was hard to even read the menu, let alone enjoy the ambiance. What made things worse were all the hidden fees. Being charged for basic condiments feels excessive, especially at a place like this. On top of that, there are strict rules about taking pictures—no flash allowed—but it’s so dark inside, any photo without flash comes out useless. I understand wanting a vibe, but it feels over the top. Shrimp tacos were just okay—not bad, but not memorable either. Not likely to return.

   I came to dLeña for my birthday dinner while visiting DC. The food was amazing, everything is made on a wood fire grill and you can taste the richness of the smoke. The drinks and customer service were also wonderful. 10/10 would definitely recommended for a birthday, date night, or girls night out.

   Everything was wonderful! First, it’s a beautiful restaurant. Excellent decor. Service was fantastic! The Maryland Crab Guacamole and Oysters are a must for the appetizers. Only gave it a 4 on food because I didn’t like the Seafood Enchiladas, the Honey Vanilla Cheesecake or the Mil Hojas Argentino. But the Carajillo Crème Brulée…..OMG!!!!! Decadent. Absolutely on the list as probably the best dessert I have ever had. It’s an absolute must! You can only get it in the restaurant because it’s cooked in a ceramic bowl. I didn’t drink alcoholic this time but they do have excellent drinks!

   Food was delicious, the drinks were good but didn’t have a punch. The ambience is beautiful and the service was good. I would definitely recommended this place to anyone look for chill vibe and could comfortably hold a a good convo

    Our second time here. The food was great, as it was last time. The Pumpkin Crab soup and the Carnitas were most satisfying. The big difference was the service. We ate early and the restaurant was only just half full. There were plenty of staff. Somehow, my wife’s entree arrived first. Followed soon after by mine. Last to arrive, to completely fill the table, my soup came last. I voiced my concern at the courses coming out in reverse order and was met with a shrug. Oh, and the soup came without a spoon.. A disappointing and, one would think, easily avoidable service snafu that took the gloss off our meal. DLeña’s food is too good to be matched by a serving experience this bad.
