Denino’s Pizzeria is a landmark in New York, with our award winning, thin-crust pizza.

We originally opened in 1937 as a full tavern on Richmond Avenue, Staten Island until Carlo Denino introduced Pizza in 1951. Since then, Denino’s Pizzeria and Tavern has been renowned for our pizza and Italian cuisine which we always prepare fresh daily. We use our family’s recipes for Chicken Parmigiana, Meatballs and past, over the years we’ve added our own version of tavern favorites like Wings, Scungilli and Hero Sandwiches.
Everything is always made from scratch, never frozen, and cooked to order.

Whenever New Yorkers come home, they come home to Denino’s Pizzeria
for thin crust, crispy, Cheesy Pizza piping hot right out of the oven.

Great service, changed our booking at the last minute which wasn’t a problem. Betty Boop was brilliant even packing the left over pizza to make sure it survived the journey back to our hotel.

This was a classic slice of wonderfully chaotic and loud New York, and I loved every minute of it. The 1951 original is an excellent, classic, no nonsense, NYC pizza. My only regret is not having any room left for a second one.

We love Deninos! Slightly overpriced but the food is worth it. My only comment in my most recent experience is that the food was all brought to the table at once; appetizers and entrees all at once. It was hard to fit everything and even harder to enjoy the appetizers when the entree were also there and could get cold. It was also pretty noisy, making it hard to talk. I’ll still go back, I love this place.

We really enjoyed dinner @ Denino's. Our group of three woment shared the Arancini, Caesar salad, Pepperoni Pizza and Chicken Francese. All were delicious. The Pizza was one of the best that I have had - the crust was light, and just chewy and crispy enough. The Arancini was large - enough to share with a bit left over. The chicken was super tender and juicy. The highlight was the dessert - the Tartufo was delicious! The portions are large and we left quite a bit on the table so I would encourage sharing where possible. I will definitely return on my next visit to NYC.
