Delmonico’s Italian Steakhouse offers unforgettable meals in an equally unforgettable atmosphere. Our guests enjoy the Italian-themed music with plenty of Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack; the caricatures on the walls; the big-city feel; and the warmth of the wood-paneled dining rooms. Above all, they love the feast for all of their senses provided by our 24 oz. signature Delmonico steak.

We also serve homemade Italian specialties, including pasta, seafood dishes, bruschetta, garlic bread, salads, chicken dishes, and cannoli, as well as a great selection of wines.

Food was ok. Two of the steaks were cooked uneven. Started out fine. But overcooked to well done when we hit yo the second half of the steak. Still fine to eat but disappointing as we have had better experiences in the past. They were also out of our first two choices for dessert

The food and service were excellent. This is our favorite restaurant for Italian food. Our server Erica was very attentive to us and met our requests with a positive attitude. I highly recommend making a reservation. It was very crowded but we only waited 15 minutes with the reservation.

wifes food came out barely warm, i got the delmonico steak, no flavor at all and have never had a steak entre where you had no sides

I had high expectations for Delmonico’s, but unfortunately, the experience started off poorly. Even with a reservation, my party had to wait 30-45 minutes to be seated. It was disappointing that the table was not reserved as expected, which disrupted our plans. The staff seemed overwhelmed, and while they were polite, the delay left a sour note on the evening. The food might be good, but be prepared for a long wait even if you plan ahead.

Having an OpenTable reservation made no difference in getting seated. We waited 50 minutes for a table, just like anyone who walked in off the street, only we weren't handed a buzzer. They kept saying they would text us when a table was open. We only ambit a table after 3 trips to the manager showing him our reservation confirmation on my phone. We left an hour later after a good meal, and they never did text us. Reservations were useless

Had a business dinner booked for 6 people that turned into 12. They were able to seat us in the Sinatra room which exceeded our expectations and made it a great dinner for a large group. Service was excellent as well as the food.

Was a party of 5 and we went on 11/5/24 and can’t remember our waitresses name. She was very good though and was very attentive to us. Was a great experience, the food was delicious and we are definitely going back.

Our server was wonderful!! Knowledgeable, and attentive, with a great sense of humor. Very pleased with the ability to alter dishes a bit to fit our likes and dislikes. New lighting since we were last there is VERY pretty and adds a really nice sense of elegance.

"Your reservation is not really a reservation, it's more of a priority seating list", I was told recently when I arrived at Delmonico's Albany. The manager told me to look at all the people waiting, without a "reservation", they would wait for 60 minutes plus, he said. My wait would be 20-30 minutes, as I had a "reservation", he said. It was a busy evening, granted, but I naively thought I had a "reservation" and would be seated. It got worse from there. The manager sat us at the bar near the hostess station to wait. After politely waiting for 45 minutes, I returned to the hostess station and asked what's up. They looked at each other confused and said my party had been seated already. They then said that they called my name, and someone said they were me and took our "reservation". I waited for the manager to return, told him of the wait and stolen "reservation". He said next table was mine. After 60 minutes, we were seated at a smaller table, not the booth that was requested, despite there being 2 men seating by themselves eating dinner in separate booths next to our table. The manager did offer to comp 2 appetizers when I asked for compensation for our wait, but the lack of empathy was evident. Despite the food being good, the service, the implied sexism, and the ambiance were so poor I doubt I will return to the Albany Delmonico's Steakhouse.
