   It was a bad experience overall. Took us 20 minutes to get drinks, an hour to get food, and the food was not good. My medium rare looked brown and the sides were lukewarm. They said their kitchen was overwhelmed by the musical at bass hall. It’s not a secret that there was a musical so they needed to plan better.

   We were put in a quiet corner- for a few minutes until a table of 12 college students were sat three feet away and then a table of 8 next to them - although they acted like adults. Food was decent and service was practically non-existent. Had enough of these corporate places that are more concerned with their profit per chair than taking care of the customers. I’m finding the cheaper “meat and three “ joints are the go-to.

   Checked in and was seated 30 min after reservation. While waiting to be seated the hostess forgot about us and I had to go back to ask her if we had a table yet. Our waitress forgot about us multiple times throughout dinner and we had to ask other waiters to grab her attention. Noise level outside from music downtown was unbearable and not pleasant. What is going on with downtown?

   My party and I wanted to sit on the patio however it was full of leaves and debris dusty place settings the salt and pepper shakers were dirty with dried food so we opted for inside dining the food was great alil pricey the service was average I expected a lil more out of Del Frisco’s as it’s advertised as very upscale alil disappointed but I’d most likely visit again

   I have dined at Drl Frisco Grill several times with great experiences. Today we waited over 1 hour and a half from ordering to receive our meals. Obviously something was wrong but rather than adjust the price of the meal we were offered free deserts that we did not have time or desire to order. So we then were given free desert coupons. It was a business group from out of town so the coupons will not get used. So basically there was no compensation for not getting our lunch and being able to eat insurance hour lunch break. 2 hours was excessive.

    Overall, we feel after having gone here several times over the years that this location has gone down hill. We were taken to our table on time with our reservation, to find a table not set yet. The hostess apologized and said this would be fixed. The server took quite a long time to approach our table and start taking drink orders. Service overall was slow. When we received our steaks, they were not cooked as requested. The server came back and told us our order was accidentally switched with another and offered to have our steaks redone. We accepted. When the steak came back out, it appeared to have been rushed as the outside was still grey in many areas, though internally it was cooked as requested. They also forgot one of our sides, which we reminded them of. Then we watched as they gave it to another table. The manager approached us and said he would comp us a dessert due to the trouble. I would definitely like to compliment the staff as they were proactive in approaching most of the issues, we didn’t have to bring any of them up except for the side missing. When looking at the receipt after leaving I noticed the dessert was not comped after all. We will not be going back to this location due to the consistency of issues we’ve now had on more than one visit. PS - the cheesecake was fantastic; best part of our visit.
