   This dinner was spectacular! I have to tell you from the start we almost left. We reserved a table with a view and as everyone knows San Diego weather is unpredictable. The wind was rough and heaters were not cutting it. We had our drinks and we're ready to pay. At a steak house like this you already know dinner is super pricy. I'm not paying $300 to be shivering. Thank you so much to Frank who came by and suggested to our server Joshua's we might like the fire pit. It was amazing!! No more wind chill we even got a little warmer. This made our Valentines dinner. Joshua's went out of his way all night to make our experience amazing as well. Now the food ! I came here not expecting to be swept off my feet. Dinners lately have been kind of disappointing in SD. Tonight we were blown away by this rib eye in truffle butter. I asked for it to be a little charred and red on the inside. The meat was tender and juice spilled onto plate. The potatoes were one of the best things I've had in my mouth. I can not tell you how much I appreciate food seasoned to perfection. The bread was the opening act with how soft buttery, and fluffy it was. The calamari in sweet Chile sauce was different then any calamari we've ever had. Fried to perfection. My lemon drop martini was made by the GODS. I can not wait to come back here once we get our sunny San Diego vibe back. Love is definitely in the air tonight. WOW

   It took about 10 minutes of multiple servers walking past us before we were even offered water. We were sat next to the door to their patio (which was not in use) and their staff kept going in and out of the door making it extremely cold sitting there. We ordered the meatballs, crab cake, 28oz bone-in wagyu, and chocolate cake. The meatballs were lukewarm-warm which was disappointing because the flavor itself was good. Overall it was just disappointing, and this will not be a place we return to.

   Came here for valentines..first time here. The hostess was very rude, did not say one word to us and avoided eye contact. She brought us to a back room where they had added extra tables that were practically right next to each other..at one point she sat the table next to us and bumped through our chairs with no apology..food was okay but was not warm. Ambience was loud and decor was tacky..just not a vibe we liked. Had a sign at the hostess stand that had a very strict dress code and also implied that if you didn’t fit it you could be asked to leave, yet there was a dog at the bar that a guest had brought. All for pet kids allowed at restaurants but the two didn’t fit..Definitely did not make an impression and would not go back. Should’ve stuck with Ruth’s Chris

   The food was amazing! We had the crab cake, tomahawk, and lobster mac n cheese. It was sooo good and service was great!

   Had a wonderful dinner with my wife. Excellent view and extremely delicious food from the apps to the entrees. Seth our waiter was on point the entire meal. Will be coming back!!

   Christian was our server and he was very professional and kind. We started with the oysters which were incredibly fresh(I do wish the expo had described which kind they were and I didn’t have the opportunity to ask but that’s okay). Next we had the Del’s salad, the dressing was delicious on that. Surprisingly the don’t offer pepper upon dropping the salad off. For our main course we shared the 24oz porterhouse, petite lobster tail, mashed potatoes and creamed mushrooms. All were excellent. I will say the steak was pretty salty which I personally LOVE but for anyone who is sensitive to salt I could see it being too much. To go with the steak I had a glass of the Treana Cabernet by Austin Hope that was recommended by Christian and it was an excellent recommendation at that. The ambiance was beautiful and we enjoyed the music. We were seated upstairs at a booth that overlooked parts of downtown.

    The service was not the best, it was only 3 tables in there but we had to ask for everything. We received our entrees before we even received our bread. I ordered the ribeye which was cooked to temperature perfectly but was still dry somehow. Overall it was a nice experience.
