   Our food was delicious and perfect! Lynn our server was friendly, helpful, and efficient. Del friscos is one of my favorite places to eat. I will make a road trip from Charleston to enjoy the filet.

   From the entrance to the exit everything was great! We had the wedge salad, wagyu meatballs (excellent) and the sweet n spicy shrimp (I didn’t care for them, too sweet and sour) The filet was seasoned and cooked to perfection. We got the broccolini and truffle fries as our sides. The broccolini had the perfect amount of crunch and seasoned perfectly. The fries could have cooked a little longer but were still very good. They give you bread which was great but also kind of sweet. Almost like a Hawaiian roll. For dessert we had the chocolate mousse which was not too sweet and very creamy, it was delicious! The butter cake with ice cream was my favorite! That was so rich and delicious! The cheesecake was ok but to be fair I’m not a huge cheesecake fan. Everything was great and the service was great as well!

   I love Del Frisco’s enough that I drive from another city and never had any issues until now. Our waiter must’ve had too many tables to manage, not greeted for over 15-20 mins. Another waiter had to bring water, bread, straws & take our order. Other tables orders are coming out except ours. She even brings our deserts out before we even saw an entree. Finally get our food and my medium steak is basically rare to where it was only seared on the outside basically. I got the truffle butter topping so when they brought out the other steak it had nothing on it. The point of the butter topping is so that it melts on top while it’s hot. She brings out another butter, and it’s a garlic butter. Anyone knows truffle has a strong smell so I knew I wasn’t crazy. I even asked another waiter to tell me which butter it was and she confirmed it was in fact garlic butter (glad I’m not allergic). That’s not what I paid for. She said the chef gave her the wrong one but by that time my steak has cooled off and the butter is just sitting on top of my steak cold. Also sitting at the table near the front by the windows was very cold & uncomfortable. Reservation was at 8:30 and didn’t leave until closer to 11 due to mishaps. I was just ready to go. So my experience was not like in the past and I would love to give them another chance but I don’t know if it’s worth the drive.

   Excellent Del Friscos. I had the Ribeye and it was a perfect rare with cool center. The quality of beef was excellent. The Blue Cheese Wedge was great. We had Aparagus, Chateau Mashed and Creamed Spinach as sides. I haven't been to Del in a while and was disappointed in not have the Au Gratin potatoes anymore. Best side they had in my opinion. The Chateau mashed, while not bad, they were disappointing. The service was excellent. I believe his name was Courtney and did not make us feel rushed.

   I was very excited to return to Del Frisco’s to celebrate my mother’s birthday. It has been a tradition of ours since 2013 - except during the pandemic. I was even more excited to see this particular cut of pork chop on the menu as I’ve enjoyed something similar at Perry’s Steakhouse in Raleigh, NC. Our server, Sasha - who was excellent - shared that the pork chop would be served medium. When the dish was served it was cooked well, was a bit salty, and tasted dry. I was disappointed. I did not return the pork chop because my mom can’t stay out for very long anymore and I knew returning the pork chop would prolong our dinner. I have no doubt that if I had expressed my dissatisfaction, it would have been rectified. I’ll stick to the steak and crab cakes at Del Frisco’s.
