    We have always loved Dawson’s but have to mention the fact that the prices have risen along with our current economy, making it difficult to bring a family group without spending a huge chunk of money. Love the ambiance, a new waiter to us was very good and food as usual was great…. It was just our wallet that felt the pinch! Probably will go when it’s just the two of us moving forward.

    Such a nice venue and so close to the Safe Credit Union theater. Lovely menu with lots of seasonal choices. Excellent service.

    Overall the food was really good. We had the prix fixe menu with the wine pairing and it was delicious. The not great part of the experience was the service. Waiting 25 minutes for two cocktails was ridiculous. That not only happened once but three times. Not sure if it was the bartender, the waiter or a combination of the two, but the last time once the mixed drink finally arrived, the ice had melted and the drink was watered down. As expensive as the meal was, I don’t think we’ll visit again.

    Salad and Burger before a show. My wife and I split as we were eating at 5 PM (show at 7). The sourdough bread with butter was lightly salted and hit the spot.Salad was great. The burger was supposed to have slivered onions versus a hearty slide. Fries was seasoned well. On a brioche bun which was nice but quickly deteriorated. Ambiance was great. Location to the show was excellent. The value for the cost of a meal (salad, burger, dessert and a glass of wine) was on the high side. Would I come back? If it were a special occasion, maybe
