   This second Da Andrea restaurant is even better than the first one on 13th Street. If you are planning a visit to the Joyce Theater to see some dance, don't pass up the opportunity to have a pre or post theater great dining experience just a ½ block away. It is beautiful inside and the chef has created some really wonderful dishes. Our server, Grace was friendly and efficient and lived up to her name. We can recommend the short ribs and truffle mashed potatoes and the scallop /arthichoke/asparagus special dishes being served now. The caesar salad has a nice touch of polenta croutons and a very flavorful dressing. Especially delicious was our appetizer - we shared the special main dish of a nest of cheese risotto with a great tomato & meat sauce nestled on top. We were sad to not be able to fit a dessert in to our well stuffed stomachs. I guess we'll need to go back soon for that!!!

   Adorable place with great ambience even though it was packed. I didn’t feel like I could hear conversations from any other table. The service was impeccable, and they called me to let me know I left my credit card behind and that it was safe. The pasta was perfection.

   I love the fact that this restaurant has opened an additional location in Chelsea with the same menu along with great service and a lovely staff. I have been a customer at the East Village location and before that on Hudson and the food has always been the draw. Good luck at the new location and neighborhood.

   Good food and nice waiter! Only thing is, we were pretty cramped in as a table of 2 (we didn’t really mind), had to wait about 20-25 minutes even though we had a reservation, and our martini glasses plus the table next to us had lipstick on the rim.

   Loved this restaurant! Was looking for somewhere in Chelsea festively decorated with good food, this was the perfect choice! So pretty inside, enjoyed everything we ordered, and the service was perfect!

   Excellent neighborhood restaurant! We had a party of 4 that grew to 9 and the staff was amazingly accommodating! Food was delicious. Service was excellent. Love the vibe and ambiance. Highly recommend!

   This was our first visit to DaAndrea in 'Chelsea and we were celebrating a milestone birthday for our daughter. Having lived in Manhattan for 50 years, and eaten in a number of excellent restaurants, DaAndrea has to top the list of overall great restaurants, with some of the best food I've ever had as well as terrific wait staff Al around excellent restaurant. Would highly recommend to anyone who asks.

    Visiting from Texas for the weekend and had a wonderful experience at Da Andrea. The waitstaff was very accommodating as we got there a little early and were seated a short time after. Spaghetti Carbonara was perfect!
