We are located in the same building as the Amtrak train station, just opposite side, next to West End Wine Bar.

    First time visit. Terrific pasta, cooked and seasoned to perfection. Try the white ragu and anything with the tajarin-style pasta. Creative cocktails. Cool vibe. Impeccable service. We will return!

    On our second time eating here we were just as satisfied as the first time. Our server Shay was lovely, accommodating and helpful. The food was fantastic! The raviolo was AMAZING and the mushroom broth was velvety with some salty and sweet notes…perfection! My us and had the bolognese and it was very flavorful with small bits of vegetables and lots of meat. We finished with the affogato and it was the perfect ending to our meal. This will Be our go to place whenever we are in Durham. Highly recommend

    This was our first visit to Cucciolo. We really enjoyed the food. The pate and prosciutto were excellent! Pasta dishes were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The cocktails were interesting and well prepared. We will definitely return.

    Had the tomato basil bruschetta and mushroom cremini. Both were outstanding, tomato and basil very fresh. Wasn’t crazy about the bread with the cremini. A little over toasted to the point of being very hard. Risotto was delicious but a little soupy. Ragu was fantastic, very light for a ragu. Cocktails were very well made. Overall, great experience.

    Our dinner was outstanding. We started with salads, which were fresh and delicious. Then we had the meatball appetizer - so good! We finished with linguine and clams - outstanding. The sauce was very spicy, which we like, but if spicy is not to your liking, then you might want to ask them to go light on the red pepper. This place serves excellent Italian food. Definitely will go back.
