   Overall experience was good, but I’ll avoid going back on busy nights. Out of the four courses on the “special” menu, 2 were cold when they should’ve been warm and they didn’t bring silverware for dessert. Wait staff clearly needed more help on a busy night. Would’ve expected the kitchen to nail the food due to this being the last night of a 2-3 week long valentine menu.

   We really enjoyed our wine flights and dinner! We went during Triangle Restaurant Week and everything we had was delicious. Will definitely return.

   Food delicious but they were out of lobster .. serviced was incredible considering they needed two more servers experience was nice it’s a bit in need of sound proofing (loud) but would try again

   I came here for restaurant week and did not leave disappointed! I went later in the evening, around 9:30, so it was quieter than usual. The food was nothing less than amazing! Every bite was flavorful. I’m a little embarrassed to say that I did not leave any leftovers! My server was also the sweetest (sorry for not remembering her name). The staff did not rush me in any way, even as their last customer of the night. Thank you all for a wonderful experience!

   We went for Triangle restaurant week, and were blown away by the short rib, the scallops & risotto, and the chocolate lava cake! Loved the ability to do wine flights with dinner, too.

   Food took forever. Drinks are limited to wine. Did not have Diet Coke or sparkling water. Very noisy. Waiters are a bit unrefined. .

   Would definitely go back for the wine, but the food was very sub-par. I ordered the caesar salad, scallops, and crème brûlée. I’ve had better bagged grocery store salads. The scallop entrée was extremely watery. The crème brûlée was minuscule and not tasty - my favorite part was the two raspberries on top.

    My partner and I were excited to try Cru during restaurant week. We were extremely disappointed and will not be back. We both started with a wine flight. The red flight was delicious and highly recommended. The white flight was not and the bar needs to do a better job with keeping their wines at the right temperature. All the whites in the flight were room temp. First course was mediocre at best. The Caesar salad tasted like your run of the mill bag salad from a grocery store. The lobster potstickers were tasty and a saving grace. Next was the entrees. My scallops were rubbery and overcooked and the risotto was bland and tasteless. When I sent the dish back to the kitchen I was only offered a free glass of wine as a replacement. After waiting fifteen minutes for disappointing desserts, we asked for the check. Only to find that we had been charged for our entire meal and nothing had been comped. The most disappointing part of our whole experience is the manager never once came to apologize or offer a replacement meal. We were finally comped for our drinks after asking to speak to the manager and refusing to pay $50 for an appetizer and one rubbery scallop. Overall the wine is mediocre. The kitchen is terribly slow. The management is poor and the food extremely overpriced. Do yourself a favor and walk across the street to have a delicious dining experience at Colletta.
