Chef Luis Arellano is a cook with a spirit that is both attached to his roots and creative and evolutionary.
He builds the menu adapting to the local products available and the seasons, inspired by the different techniques of Oaxacan cuisine, making nods to the coast, the valleys, the mountains and the Istmo of the state of Oaxaca.

My favorite meal in Oaxaca. The cafe de olla tastes like Christmas, the emoladas con queso y plátano son exquisitos, y los tacos de barbacoa también. Recomendadísimo!

We went for New Year's Eve. They know how to throw a party. It was magical--the food, the atmosphere, the drinks, the music, the pinatas, the burning man and most of all the chickens wandering all around, perching beneath the tables. I was mesmerized and enchanted. The tasting menu was sublime. Not to be missed.

I had an overall good experience here and would recommend it if you’re looking for a unique dining spot in Oaxaca. One of the highlights is their menu changes every day, they don’t provide a printed menu. Charming farmhouse vibes with chickens wandering around, which adds to the ambiance. I deducted stars because the atmosphere was disrupted by children running around and screaming, and unfortunately, the staff didn’t address it. While the food and setting are lovely, the lack of attention to maintaining a peaceful environment was disappointing.

El lugar es muy agradable, la comida es muy buena, no manejan una carta como tal sino manejan menús por tiempos. Yo pedí menú maridaje. Las bebidas buenas pero me hizo falta un mezcal en el maridaje.

Excelente lugar, muy original y servicio excepcional, el ambiente es muy familiar y divertido (fui a desayunar), había un grupo oaxaqueño tocando música regional. Recomiendo el sope de costilla. El pan dulce magnífico.
